"The highlight of the first day of Comic Con NY has to be Electronic Arts' booth, which showed off the hotly anticipated BioWare title Dragon Age: Origins, which every PC gamer has been salivating over since its announcement.
Their anticipation will be well rewarded.
For starters, Dragon Age utilizes every feature that a Windows game offers, and will look absolutely magnificent on a good rig with a 3D card. It will remind gamers that no matter what kind of graphics an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 can muster, they won't match what a PC can offer when a game is built from the ground up specifically for a PC. They also stated that Dragon Age was bigger in scale than anything they'd worked on before."
[Preview also covers Battlefield 1943: Pacific, Spore Galactic Adventures, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box and Party Pack, Warhammer Online's expansion, The Godfather II and BattleForge.]
GF365: "If you’re a reader, this list of great games for avid readers is for you. Games are a form of art, and some have written literature in them."
Here are some great action role-playing video games to play while waiting for the highly anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2.
EA: "As we close in on 15 years since the release of Battlefield 1943, and Bad Company™ 1 & 2, we are announcing that their journey is coming to an end."
This reminds me... I have ME on my PS3 hdd. Never really played it, but it was free.
On PC I don't think it's much of a problem but I'm sad to see BF43 being shut down. I haven't played it in a while since it's stuck on PS3, but i preferred it way more over BF3. It was the lack of invisible barriers which made it better for me.
Does anyone play the last BF anymore? I searched crossplay servers and it was 20 people the most on all the servers? Can never find a game
pc version it is then.
Oh, and Battlefield 1943 is all kinds of awesome too.
The more I hear about this game, the more I want it. It's turning out to be one of my most anticipated games this year.
Would have loved for a new Baldur's Gate. Will probably still be interesting if they can throw alot of effort into fleshing out the game world with a great unique story. Love the realtime/pause mechanics they are known for which gives their games a nice uptempo strategic element. Look forward to seing more of this game.
