Subliminal Message in World of Warcraft

There is a rumor going around about a few subliminal messages whispered by the Spirit Healer in World of Warcraft. Apparently the unearthly whispering is actually a few phrases such as "Give us your money." and "Play World of Warcraft." Watch the video and judge for yourself.

Correct. Subliminal messaging doesn't really work. Furthermore; if you hear these "subliminal messages" you're already playing World of Warcraft and they already have your money. A bit redundant don't you think?

She's not saying anything of the sort. It will only seem that way simply because there are the words on the screen. It's a psychological thing.

Before you click the link, do two things:

1. LISTEN to it without looking at the prompts telling you what to hear

2. Then read along.

You don't hear it until you see it.

So the prompt is coaching you on what to hear.

Basically, bogus.

Besides, you're not giving them anything, you're purchasing items. If they had a universal "donate" button, I'd be inclined to agree; but they don't as far as I know.

Okay so I asked someone who doesnt play this game. I asked her to click the link but minimize it fast and only hear the audio and this is what she said:

*shive us your money?
*no give.. give us your $$
*i realy want it. give us your ..soomethin.. the last one wasnt $$ but my mind made it $$ cuz thats what the other ones were
*i seriously dont think the last one said $$

So feel free to have others try it, someone who doesnt play the game and will only hear the audio and see what they make of it.

It does seem logical that if youre supposed to hear "Give Us Your Money" and then hear the sounds; your mind will put that in there but like I said, have others test it; so far.........someone who doesnt play the game says "It does say: Give us your money"
