Say what you want about Wario, he's nothing if not ambitious. He races karts, plays a wide variety of sports and renovates castles. He's even a fledgling game developer. Sure, he's primarily driven by greed, but scooping up treasure beats saving princesses any day. Especially when you're most likely in the wrong castle.
A strong departure from the mainline Mario entries, the Wario Land games have always focused less on careful platforming and more on puzzle solving.
NL:
After WarioWare took off, it seemed like that was all everybody's favourite antihero was up to, save for a Wii instalment of the Wario Land series. In truth, there was also an attempt at a Wario platformer on the DS, though it is quite easy to see why not many seem to remember this outing.
A look into how a fat man in yellow and purple made an impact on the platforming genre.
A friend of mine always plays Wario in Mario Kart. "I'ma Wario! I'ma gonna ween!"
I hate him so much.
My friend AND Wario.
