It wasn't too long ago that IGN reviewed another City Interactive WWII shooter, Sniper: Art of Victory, and bestowed upon it a clear thumbs down. They riddled it with bullets for its shooting inaccuracies, its brevity, its lack of multiplayer support, its AI and animation irregularities, and its rudimentary graphics. To be honest, Battlestrike suffers from many of the same foibles, including no multiplayer. Yet it feels marginally more sophisticated, looks marginally better, and won't hassle you as much with problematic shooting mechanics.
