Cliff Bleszinski Teases New Gears of War 2 Promotion Coming to Xbox Live

Cliff Bleszinski was on X-Play tonight, and in addition to talking about the latest 'Gears of War 2' title update and the status of the 'Gears of War' Movie, he teases an announcement about a new promotion involving Gears of War 2 and a horror franchise that is being rebooted.

If we can make a list of the things we want in a DLC for Gears, what would it be???

My number one request would be able to use a shield and a flail weapon... seriously, why go chainsaw when you can bash enemy limbs and their skulls. I mean, we're able to use the shield how come we can use the flail the grenades are flail-like weapons... the animation is there.

Oh well, i could only hope.

On a side note, when Gears first came out from Game Informer magazine, i really thought the game would be like a survival horror game. Especially with all the darkness and light effects they used, and making the enemies sound like some messed up monsters that eat human flesh and stuff.
