i played this game with the volume all the way up, in the dark, without using the flash light, and i have have to say is, THIS **** IS ******* SCARY AS HELL!!!

I doubt you'd miss much if you started off from F.e.a.r 2, i Do recommend playing F.e.a.r however, aside from the graphics, it was definitely a scare!

Yes, Exclusive to Quore subscribers. you have to pay for a subscription in order to download this demo early, it will however be available for all on Live, Psn and pc next week

but the dude that said it looks better than Killzone 2 either lay off the crack or just watch some of Killzone 2's gameplay videos.

Edit: Just thought i'dbring this up but i dont get why people and the media jump all over Killzone 2s AI and yet after watching these videos the AI for this game is abysmal! The guy was reloading right in front of the Enemy,the enemey was shooting him but then for some reason the enemy decides to stop shooting, begin shooting, stop, shoot, stop....WTF?? IT REALLY MUST BE HATE towards anything PS3 exclusive with GREAT potential...damn 'A'HOLES :)

the demo from qore its no where near the quality of killzone 2 its just another shooter pretty much with a scary twist

Played the demo in Cinematic 120hz Motion Enhancement

Epic win. I'm buying it when it drops.

Coming from the guy that scored perfect on every investigation challenge in Condemned 2. I like Monoliths games there style is unique.

Since I got my new super comp for Christmas I may be purchasing the PC version if it drops the same day as the console retail versions.

I'd play it in 120Hz too, but I always have game mode turned on to reduce any video processing lag (if it exists in any situation). Maybe I'll have to try it off to see if I can notice the 120Hz or not.

yeah id be iffy about 120hz in most games it does not do anything good for it...but in some cases it can be good.

that think it's a need to say "this isn't killzone good" are lame. But if FEAR 2 isn't Killzone good, you know how many games I've seen on PS3 that are Killzone good? NONE. So do you really need "Killzone good" for a game to be good? NO.

But I'll be honest Sony's release of Killzone has me expecting more of my PS3 purchases come Feb 27th... it's only fair, GG has the same system at their disposal as EVERYONE else making a PS3 game... so they ALL are working with the same tech. Why can't the games match?

Wouldn't that be boring if they'd look all the same ? Here and there a (new) developer comes and squeezes new stuff out of the box raising the bar. Others follow. Its called progress. Happened before. Not all games all of a sudden can reach these new heights, especially when they (the benchmark titles) are not even released yet.

I am just thinking if I should spend those $3 to get the demo or wait another 1-2 weeks. hm ...

now i can be 100% sure the 360 version will be the superior version of fear 2. 360 and pc again will be the only versions of this game to even consider. bet the ps3 version will be ugly, and have framerate issues, while 360/pc versions will be gorgeous, and not one framerate hiccup. must suck for you guys to ALWAYS get the inferior versions of games....maybe it's time to JUMP IN!!
