i played this game with the volume all the way up, in the dark, without using the flash light, and i have have to say is, THIS **** IS ******* SCARY AS HELL!!!

Serjikal_Strike5582d ago

And surprisingly its around a 20 min demo..the mech at the end is awesome!

interrergator5582d ago

freakier than the first one shes crazy

ThanatosDMC5582d ago

Can someone tell me why Alma is still being a B**** on this sequel? I thought we got her on the expansions of the first game. Is this a prequel to the first game???

MGOelite5582d ago

this looks like a pretty brill game, not as good as killzone but better than COD5 (got boring very quickly)

FantasyStar5582d ago

I disagree. Killzone and FEAR are pretty even. Whatever, they're both epic.

i actually like the blood effects in fear 2 better than killzone 2

Pixel_Addict5582d ago (Edited 5582d ago )

Seriously, "blood effects"? That's what you noticed?? So the nitpicking as come down to this has it? I'm not going to even waste my time explaining how mind bogglingly stupid you are. Even if you are just doing this to get some sort of sick rise out of making stupid fanatical comments... you are just an utter loser.

Also, just to rub it in your face (or any other 360 owning JERK) you may think FEAR 2 has better "blood effects" than Killzone 2, but guess what PS3 owners get to have BOTH... now suck on that.

:)

Fantastic! :) thats what i like to hear! so more scares than F.e.a.r itself then?

MGOelite5582d ago

will you have to play fear 1 to understand this one?

Dark SeRaNADE5582d ago (Edited 5582d ago )

:/

It might help, but they are starting with a different persons perspective in this one, last one was "point man"
now its michael becket.
I doubt you'd miss much if you started off from F.e.a.r 2, i Do recommend playing F.e.a.r however, aside from the graphics, it was definitely a scare!
:)

MGOelite5582d ago

i dont understand this is the ps3 version?

ph3lid5582d ago

lol

oh man you're the best - you know this is the PS3 version don't you?

and yes, lol@ trying to aim with the PS3 controller. the 1st one was a mess on the PS3. the fire button is R2 so your fingers always slip off the trigger.

btw the 360 controller is way better for FPS

[Retrospective] For Better And For Worse: ‘F.E.A.R. 2’ Turns 10

Inspired by the J-Horror craze going on at the time, Monolith’s F.E.A.R. was a solid action fest of a shooter that entertained as much as it terrified. Bloody Disgusting goes back to see Alma ten years on from the launch of the sequel.

Great franchise, needs a port to consoles.

Fist4achin1894d ago

I liked the first FEAR better. 2 was ok.

AK911894d ago

This game honestly killed all my interest in the franchise, I loved 1 and its expansions (even though they're technically non-canon now) but the sequel was such a let down.

F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, a Ten Year Reunion

WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "Whilst F.E.A.R 2 wasn’t the masterpiece I remembered from ten years ago, with its combat and level design being worse than the original, it is still a fun game that is well worth playing through today. "

PSU writes:

PSU continues its look at the horror genre over the past 20 years on PlayStation platforms, with our latest entry looking at the tail end of the PS2 era and into a new generation with the release of the PS3. Resident Evil 4, Dead Space, Siren: Blood Curse, and F.E.A.R. are just some of the pant-wetting pleasures you'll find in part 3.
