A brief introduction to HAWX for those uninitiated: Players assume the role of David Crenshaw, an ace pilot formerly a part of the United States military's HAWX program. After HAWX was cut due to budget concerns, David elected to offer up his service to the highest bidder which at the time was a private military firm known as ARES. Its troops are trained in more aggressive and unconventional tactics than what is offered by the military.
In 2019 tensions between Brazil and Las Trinidad, a South American militant alliance, are growing thicker. Brazil contracts ARES to help, and the corporation complies until the United States decides to also back Brazil, thus cutting ARES' profits. Looking for more money, ARES sides with Las Trinidad which forces them into action against the United States with David Crenshaw and his squad sitting in the middle of the conflict.
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. was a series that showed promise, but after 2010's Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, all we have is backwards compatibility.
I remember buying Hawx2 back on PS3 after Microsoft bought exclusivity of Ace Combat6.
So to fill that dog fighting space I bought Hawx2, a very basic game that only had a gimmick of evasion that was overused if I remember correctly. I never even finished the game and still own it and my super slim ps3 so who knows I might pop it in one day and see if I can feel the need, I he need for speed.
