The hit-reg is awful and they're "aware" of it but still haven't fixed it. This being a Ubisoft game makes me want to see it fail. They are going to monetize it to death just like they will be doing with The Division Heartland.

Idk why people used to get so hyped for call of duty zombies. It was pretty whack even back then. I remember people gushing over this mode. My cousin convinced me to try it. And I did for a few, told him this I what people are excited about. There's way better zombie games out there.
From the OG treyarch team with World at War to BO3, zombies was amazing. Epic easter egg hunt storytelling, alien weapons and technology, addicting progression and just killing zombies was what made it fun. It was one of those great roguelikes before roguelikes became so popular. It was something that was built on for many years and generations. Unfortunately it's gotten downhill after bo3 though as many key members from treyarch have left. Very generic now imo.
I remember playing WaW zombies for the first time at my cousins place as kids and we loved it so much. And God when the first dlc came out with perks snd then it just kept getting better from there with the PAP machine, amazing characters and storyline etc. It's one of those things where you have to be a dedicated fan to be a fan of, kinda niche in a way, a very awesome and dedicated community that got built up for years. This community I still consider one of the best that's ever existed in a gaming community. Some of the best maps ever like Kino, Mob of the Dead, Origins, Der Eisandrach were some of the greatest moments in cod zombies history and still memorable and talked about to this day by the community.
It was a great run. I guess we'll see if cod zombies can ever come back in equal or better form some day.
