PixelJunk Eden "Easy" patch coming this week (for NA at least)

Via PS3Fanboy:

"While available in Japan and Asia since December, American gamers will be able to get their hands on a new PixelJunk Eden patch this Thursday. The patch adds new features requested by fans. Firstly, a lot more time has been added on the clock. If that's not enough, there's a new continue system in place for those that just can't make it to that last Spectra. A new control scheme and adjusted camera system should be a pleasant addition for those that don't necessarily want an easier game."

Time to revisit Eden?

Getting the trophies in this game is too hard, you have to collect all those small pollen in the level. That pollen is everywhere and in the hard to reach places. Its smaller than the pixel player.

I want a patch for ingame music. I know you get it after you beat it... but sheesh.. its hard to focus with the music.. it makes me want to go to a gay rave. Its a tiny niggle, but its the only thing keeping me from firing it up again, and i'm far too lazy to cut a cd on, and mute the music in the game.

I enjoyed this interview very much. It brings many questions that I commonly ask myself when it comes to the current state of our industry.

I've never thought about a PSN title as a "Day 1" purchase. I will always be exited to see a new pjGame.

I've found PSN has a lot of games I pick up on day 1.

I mean, PixelJunk Eden is a prime example of a game that really is instant buy.

I just finished monsters on casual difficulty. And got 42 spectra's on Eden.

both are AMAZING games. From graphics to sound, they define quality gaming!

I spent more hours on eden, than i usually do on a $60 retail game.

My favourite PSN game, even better than Warhawk and Burnout: Paradise, is Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Poweres Battle Cars. Check it out :)

They make PP ashamed of ever owning a xbox.

Although it wasn't a day 1 purchase for me, (since i didn't know what it was, and wasn't familiar with the quality this studio puts out) i played eden to death. Got all the spectras and all the trophies. Definitely gets harder and more interesting towards the end!! SSHD was day 1 for me tho. Don't regret it. Love PSN titles. Great quality.
