These type of articles just ruin the experience and have a special hate in my heart.

"How to get the best weapon!"
"Where to find these rare materials!"
"How to unlock all secret endings!"
"Here is John beating DD2 in 45 seconds!"
"The best archer build!"

Disgusting. Let people think and explore for themselves.

I get your dislike for the examples you provided but when creating a character, I do like to have a proper understanding of the classes if there's no class switching mid-game.

Reading this article, I wanted to check if you can change vocations on the same save. It's good to know you can. So if you pick one you don't end up liking, you're not going to have to restart the whole game. Only have a certain amount of time to play games these days.

A lot of big budget RPGs that don't have class switching could benefit from a training room letting you try out all of the classes before committing.

If I do get this game (leaning towards skipping it), I'll be waiting for it to be heavily patched and for a steep price cut if the monetisation isn't changed, but this info is good to know.

The monetisation stuff is absolute FUD. I played the first game and the elements such as fast travel crystals are intentionally scarce. A major gameplay mechanic is the travelling from point A to B and the risk Vs reward of avoiding travelling at night or getting stuck out in the wilderness in the dark. The micro transactions added to the steam store have not impacted the games design at all. Everything is fairly easily attainable in-game (I mean I got 300;RC points last night alone - and I did nothing. It's something your lawn passively acquired for you by being chosen by other players to assist them. They are essentially the option to buy cheats or shortcuts for real money. If others want to spoil the game for themselves then they can do that but ultimately their decision to waste money million

Also on;ps5 I'm not seeing significant performance issues. Frame rate was even sustainable last night when two war Cyclops attacked me and a griffin decided to come get involved along with a load of goblins. It was absolutely insanely hectic and the frame date remained pretty stable considering.

I'd say it's a $10-$20 game with MT's and Celebrity pawns. These two things cheapen the product. It's like buying a PewDiePie shirt at Walmart, which is a shame because it looks like the devs put a ton of good work just to have it printed on mugs right before the checkout line.

They have to write this stuff because they do not have the ability to write about the nuances of gaming culture.

Game has some issues tho and its not the GOTY everyone hoped.

Small enemy variety.
Very poor endgame. Its just Caelid with some bosses.
Fun classes like Assassin and Magic Knight gone
One weapon type per class.

Overall its a great game.

It looks great and completely changes how characters and environments look, but obviously tanks performance.
