Best Adventure Game of 2023

VGChartz's Chinh Tran: "Once a hugely popular genre in the 80s and 90s, adventure games have somewhat taken a backseat in favor of other types of games. However, as proven in recent years, no other type of game can quite replace a great adventure title. Whether you wanted to explore a tropical island in an open world adventure, unravel a mystery as a fishing boat captain, make choices that matter in a 1980s-inspired narrative adventure, or uncover the murder of one of gaming's most beloved characters, the finalists for Best Adventure Game in 2023 had you covered."

Can we put Shuhei in charge of PlayStation? That would be awesome

Lightning77166d ago

Shuhei, please run PlayStation. You're the only one that can clean up Jim Ryan's mess.

Becuzisaid165d ago

How do you have any down votes for saying what is the obvious truth?

Lightning77165d ago

Meh, they can't tell you. Jim vastly disrupted the flow and cadence of PS exclusives with his live service initiative. Other wise, PS would have the usual 3 to 4 AAA exclusives released next year.

I'm not kidding when I say Shuhei is the only one that knows how to run right now.

I have approved the article to see many more comments about him being in charge of Playstation because he likes some indie games.

isarai165d ago

Do you not know Shuhei? He's been with PlayStation since day 1, and was really in the public eye through the PS3 and early PS4 era. Doing countless interviews and scouting some amazing talent to nurture for what turned out to be fantastic titles/exclusives. If you were around then and watched gaming news you got to know his stance and philosophy on supporting the platform and makers for the platform. He's a known prime example of what made many people like myself, become major fans in PlayStation to start with, and would be a great candidate to take things back to that business model and away from this GAAS, cross gen, budget cutting, multiplatform, stretched resources course we're on now.

This guy gets it. Imagine him as the head of playstaion. There wouldn't be a need to worry about quality at all.
