5 DS Games We Wish Were on the PSP

Pspworld: It used to be that schoolyard rivalry between the two handhelds meant that PSP owners were obligated to look down their noses at games developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS. But with a massive software drought currently affecting our (arguably superior) handheld, we're not afraid to admit it anymore: the DS has some great games. Here are five titles that we secretly play at night under the covers with a flashlight. Please don't tell the headmaster.

TWEWY just wouldn't be the same game on the PSP same with Prof Layton. Sure you could make some form of it's previous self but nothing like the original.

Guitar Hero would be rough, Dragon Quest naturally would work out easy, and there have been 2 GTA games on the PSP already. The only thing with GTA is you'd be losing a lot of the gameplay that's incorporated for the DS version but wouldn't hurt the end game at all.

I agree with you, except for the fact that on the PSP, each of the games could be given a major graphical overhaul.

Imagine Professor Layton with hd graphics and full voice acting. Same goes for TWEWY.

So in some ways the PSP versions could be better.

True the PSP will always have the graphics to go over the DS. Though the sprite use done in TWEWY is superb and while a jived up non 16bit sprite could be a warm welcome I just don't see the dual battles taking place as smoothy. Prof Layton was hand drawn glory with the looks of a BBC cartoon. Nothing really can be upgraded for graphics other than changing them drastically.

I think everyone should own a DS and Prof Layton though. So if they did bring it to the PSP that just means it'd get into more hands ;)

The thing that was great about TWEWY were the two battles with two different controls going on. The great thing about Prof Layton were the puzzles and the atmosphere. You'd be able to reproduce atmosphere easily but some of those puzzles wouldn't work with button presses, but Level 5 did make 3 games off of it so they'd be able to pick out the ones that would work on it

1: Pokemon Platinum
2: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
3: Suikoden Tierkreis
4: Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume
5: Chrono Trigger remaster, remake, enhance mix.

You can play Rhapsody on the PSP now. ..you just need CFW in order to play the PS1 copy. Valkyrie Profile. ..well there's Lenneth already. As far as CT well the same thing goes for that as it does for Rhapsody, but I get where you're coming from. Personally I was disappointed with the CT port, waited all this time and saw FF get many remakes and updates (some 3D) and CT gets this shoddy ass treatment?

Wow, I'm surprised they didn't say any of the Castlevania titles, outside of needing to draw the glyphs in Aria of Sorrow, you'd be alright. Other than that, just buy a DS.

Well here are 5 PSP games DS owners will never get to play
1.God of War: Chains of Olympus
2.Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
3.Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
4.Patapon
5.Locoroco

Haha, wrong topic. Should probably search for that one on google. It'd be cool though.

Sweet. I loved Liberty City Stories despite the city being empty. Those main story missions were tough but fun.

Both Stories games were far better than GTA 3 IMO, VCS being the best and most enjoyable though.
