By protecting their IPs and characters? I’m glad you don’t run any corporations, because you would give away IPs for FREE and drive the company to bankruptcy, rather than licensing them.

MetalGearsofWar81d ago

There's no pokemon in palworld.

PRIMORDUS81d ago

There is nothing to protect. People will still buy Pokemon games regardless of Palworld. Nintendo will never get it.

shaenoide81d ago

Pokemonster were based on Dragon Quest design. So what do we do ?

Angyobangyo81d ago

Oh right you clearly know how to run corporations. Must be a slow day at your corporation to be posting here based purely on your feelings. Last I checked the game was unveiled in 2021 and Nintendo never issued a cease and desist, let alone sue.

OtterX80d ago

@BeHunted shaenoide is right. Pokemon ripped off Dragon Quest first. Palworld monsters are as much a variant of Pokemon as Pokemon was of Dragon Quest.

It's expected. The designs of monsters look like pokemon with angry faces.

Michiel198981d ago

so now nintendo got a monopoly on making designs based on rl animals?

repsahj81d ago

@Michiel1989

You will know if it is based on real life animals. It is obvious where the designs were taken from.

"You will know if it is based on real life animals. It is obvious where the designs were taken from."

its obviously were pokemon took their design from as well, so your point?

Also its similar but not their own, they CANT take down what they do not own, they did have to take palworld to court first, and they know they will fail miserably if they do...

PRIMORDUS81d ago

You can buy the shirt here: https://www.redbubble.com/i...
And so many other's besides Sparkit on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/search...
Nintendo will not touch anything on Etsy, if they let anyone buy modded Nintendo Switches with the games installed, they are not going to take down a shirt on Etsy🤣 Example: https://www.etsy.com/search...

Inverno81d ago

Ninty can't take down what doesn't belong to em, neither are they the owner of cutesy monster designs or the concept itself.

BrainSyphoned81d ago

I want a fan made Palworld TCG deck that is compatible with PokeTCG.

CobraKai81d ago

That’s not theirs this time. Sure they look close to Pokemon but it’s not Pokemon

I really enjoyed Good Job game...too bad that they are closing

mastershredder1d 15h ago

Considering the level of games they made, I'm surprised that more than 2 people worked there. 45 people (+ outsourcing) making mediocre mobile games, like cut the rope. I mean dude....Nintendo stooped to new lows in quality development and entertainment standards.

thats so crazy haha.

it will never disappear.

darksky3d ago

The more they try to stop it, the more publicity it gets. The fact is that Yuzu will forever live on torrent and other sites. Nintendo is fighting an uphill battle.

Inverno3d ago

Another 8,500 will take their place. Smh

PRIMORDUS3d ago

There is nothing stopping these people from working on Yuzu clones and sharing them on torrent sites. Nintendo or anyone else cannot do shit about torrents or usenet.

lucasnooker3d ago

lol Nintendo keep fighting this but it never ends. Why do they feel the need to persist? I guess they are in too deep now they have to
