UK Sales Charts: Helldivers 2 PS5 Drops into the Top 10

Push Square: "Last week was a relatively quiet moment in what's been a very busy period for game releases, but the latest UK retail chart still has a new entry. While we presume most of its sales will be digital across PS5 and PC, it appears Helldivers 2 isn't doing too badly with its boxed copies, either. The PS5 version has debuted in the top 10 at number seven."

well, helldivers is 3rd person, not twitch based, has less maps, half the price, etc, list goes on

one could argue for £29.99 in the uk, its better value though, I keep hearing howe fun it is, but alas,- backlog.

A game doesn't need to have the exact formula to compete with another game. Being a GaaS shooter is enough for me.

I remember when The Finals was a CoD killer too

I think word of mouth on Helldivers has been better but no way will it "kill" CoD

It would take something absolutely huge to kill CoD, like a 3 trillion dollar company or something

I play plenty, thank you very much.

As far as gas games go I don't remember many that kept friendly fire on, hordes of monsters coming at you time struggling to survive kills bugs call down weapons with codes while trying to stay alive while implanting even harder codes in the heat of battle to drop down nukes.

When the last game you played let u drop down nukes in regular fashion in epic style and watch the world burn along with potentially your squad.

Helldivers is an absolute riot, nothing is actually comparable.
