Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League reviews are no where to be found, and it's not because of a late embargo. What's going on?
Warner Bros Discovery has revealed that sales of its action adventure game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, have been "disappointing".
No one to blame but themselves
Are they now getting it or they still going to push GaaS
The main thing I hate about this garbage, is that they gamble the livelihood of these studios by forcing them to do this when they don't want to. Then when it underperforms they shut them down for something they didn't even want to do in the first place.
Rocksteady writes: "Hello people of Metropolis!
It was great to see the positive feedback to the upcoming changes we laid out in last week’s Developer Update, and so we wanted to take the opportunity this week to touch on some of the other content you can expect to see in Episode 2."
Always nice to get a pulse check from a developer you know it's day's are numbered.
Rocksteady writes: "In this week’s Developer Update we are going to show some of the gameplay changes we have planned for Episode 2. From looking at both our own internal data, and from listening to community sentiment we’ve worked on a series of improvements that we believe will make for a better experience in terms of hunting for new gear, fighting Brainiac’s forces, and overall quality-of-life."
It is clear to me it is a cherry-picked situation. I have been getting the updates and I have sent multiple e-mails asking about if they got the radio spots, magazine, etc, and have never once had a reply. All we get is the standard releases for trailers and such and then no response when links are sent. It strikes me as lets get as much coverage as we can, send out as few review copies as possible, and then run and hide when people ask for review code.

Why are you acting like this is a new concept?. They have no confidence in the game because they KNOW it's not what people want. So they put an embargo that lasts till the day of release, and allow only a select few to have review copies to which they likely paid/bribed for good scores to trick the masses who aren't on the Internet following all this into buying it and spending money on it before they realize how sh!t it is.
I feel like studios or publishers are now going to start cherry picking sites even more going forward
The last time this happened was Starfield
Now journalists will not want to be missed out and will start bootlicking even more to be one of those cherry picked people
Not saying it’s a new concept just happening but it’s starting to happen more.
It's a rubbish looking game, so don't send out review codes until it's too late.
People who buy it digital will just get a refund. It's the physical market that's gonna take the hit.
