Without a doubt, one of the best metroidvanias in recent memory, and one of Ubisoft’s best titles of the past couple of decades. I played The Lost Crown to death when it first came out, but I kept thinking about it long after beating it. I wanted to know more about its development cycle. platinumed the game, so I might consider the DLC in case its not a cash grab. I really hope the game sold more than the mentioned 300k copies.
Free DLC is always positive.
Paid story DLC just makes me want to wait until everything is released and then pick up a Complete Edition.
I'm glad the game has done (critically) well. Probably should have sold a bit more, but perhaps Ubi didn't expect the game to do so well in the reviews that they skimped a bit too much on marketing, or too many folks soured by Ubisoft over the years now refusing to pick up their games at launch/full-price ...
