With Exodus, ex-BioWare devs aim to be ‘a titan’ in the RPG space again

The elevator pitch for Exodus? Mass Effect meets Interstellar meets Final Fantasy.

Mass effect 1 was dope as could be. Part 2 seemed dumbed down and on a budget. You couldn't even run around the citadel. You got to choose from a small list of areas to go to like a store etc. I like rpgs that have actual towns that you can walk around. It kinda takes away from the experience imo, and I'll point out there weren't many space rpgs, so there wasn't alot of competition for the crown.

I pray the day I can type out a comment without my phone or this website acting like I'm touching more then just my keyboard fake clicking on these ads, or when I'm typing fast it can keep up.

I remember running around the citadel being kinda annoying after a while. It was cool to explore once but became a slog. The size was definitely amazing at first though.

To each they own I guess. Rpgs without cities or a city Ala mass effect are kinda eh. Doesn't make or break it sure but it's a negative in my book.

I totally agree with you. I was very disappointed in ME2 and 3. They became more shooters than rpg after 1. They weren’t horrible games but they were less rpg than first game by a good amount.

The last great game Bioware has put out was Mass Effect 2. Everything else has been pretty lackluster. Inquisition was pretty good, I guess. Major issue being the over-padding of uninteresting side quests made a lot of the content feel like an MMO.

I think they have one more chance to actually pull out a banger before EA shuts them down.

Mass Effect 3 was great. The last 15 minutes weren't what people were hoping for, sure, but that doesn't negate the rest of the game being great.

I gave it the old college try, but it didn't grab me like the others did. I never actually made it to the end before shelving it.
I did grab the remasters on sale and have been slowly playing through them. Might actually sit down and finally finish the trilogy.

I know right? This might be a purchase for me after I check out the reviews

All right all right all right! I’m down for this

Knightofelemia138d ago

Until someone bigger buys them up and pushes them around again.

this wasn’t made by Bioware, some ex-Bioware devs made a new studio and this is their new game.

first emulation, now this
even though I don't play Garry's Mod, it is still bad

Inverno1d 13h ago

I was reading it's all just false reports from a troll who's done things like this in the past and not Nintendo themselves.

-Foxtrot1d 4h ago

Well the games creator Gary Newman confirmed it himself on Twitter.

Seems that's still being debated.
