Nintendo has sent out a number of screenshots from the new Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

also looks like it has solid gameplay. Never tried a paper Mario before Wii U and color splash. I will give this one a try at some point
It’s Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door release day, an exciting moment for fans of the beloved RPG and newcomers alike.
For whatever reason, Nintendo is being Nintendo and making it very hard to get your hands on the original Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door cover. Instead of including the cover as a reversible in every physical copy of the game, only people who pre-ordered the game at the Nintendo Store in New York City or live in Canada got their hands on a slipcover. Of course, with that kind of exclusivity, people are already selling the cover on online shops for prices nearing and exceeding the cost of the game itself.
I paid the coins and printed one out using glossy paper and a really expensive color laser printer/copier.

Nintendo are insane and inconsistent
Like they could have done a cool little collectors edition with this, a steelbook, art book, pins, soundtrack and some other goodies yet they just don’t bother. Not just this game but so many.
They’d sell like hot cakes
The thing is once in a blue moon you do get cool editions but then they just don’t bother after. Luigi’s Mansion 3 got a steelbook yet the second games HD version coming out isn’t getting one.
Why they’d make this specific to a single store in NYC is beyond me. It’s insulting to fans and to make it like 30 coins for people to print out on paper is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. They could’ve easily included the reversible covers with this release.
