The official fact sheet of STALKER 2 reveals that the game has been delayed again and will launch in Q1 2024 for PC and Xbox Series S|X.

They’ve not gone through development hell, they live in a country that has been invaded, they’ve lost devs to an ongoing war effort. It’s a complete miracle this game is even coming out

This game 100% would not be releasing without support, which they got from Xbox.
I wish Xbox made more games over the past decade, or any at all, but seeing them help this game exist gives me hope.
3-6 month exclusive depending on which leak you believe but it could take longer. That’s ok though it will give time to work out the bugs and give me time for my backlog which is never ending

Today GSC Game World announced the release date of the highly anticipated game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a bit later than expected.
I really hope this game is a success after the horrors of war they have had to go through.

If they hit the release date that means around March for PS5. Hopefully by then they have most of the bugs fixed.
Oh give the "console war" shit a rest, these developers had to make this game as their homeland and countrymen were destroyed by that monster Putin, the entire game community should be supporting them regardless of our console of choice.

I'll be renting it on gamepass if it's a day one title. If it's good I'll happily buy it at full price on playstation. If it don't release on Playstation within 6 months of launch of pc/Xbox. Then I'll just buy it on pc unless a disc version of the game can be found cheaper on Xbox.
But if the game releases in a buggy mess then why would I buy it? It's horrible what's going on in Ukraine. But here in the UK where I live we are Inna cost of living. I work a decent paying job 35 hours a week and even then I have to be very careful with what I spend it on. So again if it releases a buggy mess. Why would I spend the money on gamepass to play it? Or if it releases on PS5 and it's a buggy mess why would I spend my hard earned money on it? Because the developer is from Ukrain?
@jznrpg Actually, it was originally a 3 month timed-exclusive for Xbox so that would be December on PS5 if they kept the original agreement intact.
