More controllers and UIs than games at this point. This is basically just a shrunken version of the current UI with a few tweaks.

LOGICWINS291d ago

I was excited to try out this "new dashboard" and didn't notice the difference lol.

MrBaskerville290d ago

I think having the library and store in the top is a big improvement and it seems to run better, feels lesd janky. Not a fan of the endless amount of stuff displayed if you keep going down. Same on ps5, but that's atleast mostly stuff related to the highlighted game. On Xbox it's everything from library stuff to ESPN apps.

StarkR3ality289d ago

Yeah I actually really like the new dashboard, plus you get to see more of your chosen background as well. Not groundbreaking but the ease of use and visual changes are nice.

@jin You just couldn’t resist right. Always no games story. But hey that is changing very fast. Spew it while you can.

CBaoth287d ago

How so? With 68 billion committed to acquire ABK and Bethesda - what new games do you get to play?

Oh that's right nothing. Not one new game! Every game that's coming out was ALREADY in development for Xbox. That's how dumb xclowns are. Maybe they can buy Larian and force'em to port BG3 to the series G.

MIDGETonSTILTS17291d ago (Edited 291d ago )

The irony is that my Xbot friends are always claiming I must be miserable with the UI of the PS5 (which has always been perfectly navigable)…. Meanwhile, Xbox is the one that feels the need to “improve” their UI every six months…

I guess it’s easier to tinker with a UI than make a decent AAA game.

Profchaos290d ago

Sony nailed the PS3 UI the PS4 was good but tbh ps5 needs work but it's leagues better than the xbox one / series

Or maybe I just miss the xmb of the ps3/p

ModsDoBetter290d ago

Yep PS5 UI is pretty poor compared to the XMB or PS4 layout. No folders or themes is just baffling.

shadowT291d ago (Edited 291d ago )

More Xbox UI updates than PS5 "stable" fixes :D

this looks more cluttered than before haha.
just with new tabs with clutter

Jin_Sakai291d ago (Edited 291d ago )

Wish they’d design a UI and actually put some character into it instead being cluttered with boring squares all over the place.

shinoff2183291d ago

It feels like a cluttered website.

CantThinkOfAUsername289d ago

Everyone wants to provide the 'Netflix experience.'

purple101291d ago

does it still have forced adverts like a couple year back during covid>??

shinoff2183290d ago

Not to bad that I noticed , but for the moment I've really just set it up, and checked grounded out.

Microsoft's Absurd Antics Have Me Scared For Dishonored And Arkane Lyon's Future

With Arkane Austin no more and Lyon living for who knows how long, the superb Dishonored is in serious danger; Microsoft cannot be trusted.

Relientk774h ago

I love the Dishonored series so much and really want Dishonored 3. Microsoft better not screw this up.

JEECE1h ago

I mean, I think the fans will probably kill Arkane Lyon by cooking up reasons to hate whatever they do next without playing it. I've never seen a game so artificially disliked as Deathloop.

Lol, why don't we just say, we are worried about all studios owned by MS now. They will keep closing studios until they have none left ...🙄
