Nice!....If I didn't know any better I was expecting MS to close all their studios, except Sledgehammer & IW, triple the price of GP overnight, ruin Sony, and focus on releasing a new version of CoD every 6 months. lol, but no gaming just rolls on.

InUrFoxHole284d ago

Classic doom and gloom. Lol. Looks it is indeed rolling on and with better value for gamers.

"No instead they will triple the price of game pass over time"

-You mean like how a loaf of bread doesn't cost 80 cents anymore? *over time vs *overnight= big difference, plus if the sub ever becomes too expensive, Xbox gamers can always choose the only option ps offers for new games= buy them full price, lol

"extort money from Sony for at least the next 10 years"

-oh, so publishers/devs have been extorting all 3 platforms since the beginning of consoles, is that what it's called, NOW???, lmfao

"and ruin COD going forward."

-Wait, I thought CoD despite being the best selling game every year was already ruined?, according to the constant pop opinion on n4g long before this MS deal CoD has been trash, so?

-Pretty flat arguments...too easy really.

Loving it, this is the MS i have waited so long to return Xbox to the 360 days.

InUrFoxHole284d ago

Seriously. Seems like every step they took forward they messed up by doing something non gamer friendly. Hopefully this is the right track

Hah, thats pretty cool.

Seems random as hell, but still cool

ghostrider32284d ago

Now, we just need them to revive servers for Conker: Live & Reloaded.

GaboonViper284d ago

Good lord yes, and a sequel too.

ClayRules2012284d ago (Edited 284d ago )

Haha, my brother would love that. He was a big fan of Conker, an interesting squirrel to say the least lol. What a game. I liked what I played of it.

Blashted283d ago

Check out Insignia Live, a replacement XBL service for the OG Xbox, the Conker servers are back up there. Played it the other day with some people

Notellin284d ago

This game was an awesome multiplayer experience. Can't wait to get back into it.

got_dam284d ago

I loved the game. Remember getting the achievement for killing someone on widows Vista and learning at that moment that I was playing with pc players from my 360.

ShadowRun - An Xbox 360 Classic Left to Rot

ShadowRun arrived in 2007 and is still played by a core audience on modern consoles and PC today, despite a bungled launch.

coolbeans118d ago

Played it a few months back. Not a stellar mp game at its time, but still genuine & janky fun.

Sciurus_vulgaris118d ago

I have never played Shadowrun. However, the universe of Shadowrun seems like a good setting for various game genres. The franchise combines traditional fantasy tropes with cyberpunk science fiction.

Rebel_Scum118d ago

Yeah since the megadrive game I’ve always thought how cool the setting and premise is but the game never really delivers on gameplay.

ocelot07118d ago (Edited 118d ago )

Really enjoyed this back on 360. Was one of the first pc games I played as well. Nice to see it's still online I'm going to have to see about getting a copy on pc again.

Edit: is this backward compatible with series X?

Gcayton1118d ago

Fun game... just not Shadowrun.

porkChop117d ago

The Shadowrun RPGs from Harebrained Schemes were great, but that IP is just begging for a massive, Cyberpunk 2077-style game. Open world action RPG epic with a healthy dose of immersive sim goodness.

shinoff2183115d ago

That could turn out really good for real.

The 7 Best Xbox 360 Games - Console Exclusives Win the Day

The Xbox 360 was a fantastic console in its day with some truly classic titles, but what are the seven best games for the console?

DrDoomer145d ago

I'm pretty used to these lists being bad, but this one is particularly s#ite.

raWfodog145d ago

I think Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon should have been added to the list.

BrainSyphoned145d ago

I'll go with,
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Culdcept Saga, Shadow Complex, Ace Combat 6 with the flight stick,A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings.
Bonus Kinect Games: Happy Action Theater and Sesame Street.
*Skyrim was so bad on PS3 that it almost deserves to be #1*

Husker42c145d ago

I really loved Shadow Complex.

P_Bomb145d ago

Ah yes, Shadow Complex! Good indies back in the day. Summer of Arcade. I enjoyed Trials Evolution as well.

ChasterMies145d ago (Edited 145d ago )

Was this made by a.i.? No human being would put Shadowrun, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction into a list of the 7 best Xbox 360 games.

Abnor_Mal145d ago (Edited 145d ago )

Would love to play Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but Xbox decided to buy exclusivity and keep it off a competing platform.

The only mainline game I never played except for one level at a friends place. Game sold less than any other in the series if I remember correctly.

darthv72145d ago

360 had Namco hitters AC6 and RR6... both quality titles. You should at least bust out the 360 for AC6 if you can score the flight stick. Its great.

Hofstaderman145d ago

When the current gen XBOX offering is so lacking people need to refer to games released two generations back....

Profchaos144d ago (Edited 144d ago )

It's a nostalgia peice same reason we get thousands of YouTube videos on sega genisis. Something people have fond memories for but the era is long gone.

It's xboxs golden year imo it was their genisis years the time where they stuck it to the market leaders Sony.

BehindTheRows144d ago

They stuck nothing. Sony screwed themselves giving Xbox an opening. They would have gotten the usual smack down if the PS3 had launched at $399 and was easier to develop for.

Shadowrun 2007 almost had a System Shock-style singleplayer campaign

But Microsoft said no.

XiNatsuDragnel258d ago

I'm not surprised I hope if Microsoft is more open to these things.

anast256d ago

That would have been fun, so they said no.
