Xbox Series X|S Outsells Nintendo GameCube

Microsoft's latest video game consoles, the Xbox Series X|S, which is part of the ninth generation of video game consoles, has outsold the lifetime sales of the Nintendo GameCube, according to VGChartz estimates.

Metroid Prime remaster is one of the best FPS of all time. The remaster looks and played amazing. It’s surprisingly a locked 60fps also. Quite a technical achievement on Switch.

Switch hasn’t outsold the DS yet. The DS remains the top dedicated gaming handheld of all time with 154 million sold! Amazingly, the top selling dedicating gaming device is a home console, the PS2 with a staggering 158 million sold!

The gamecube was so underappreciated and it's personally not until I got a Wii as I was firmly a PS2 and PC player that gen and discovered just how good the gamecube games were through backwards compatibility playing them with the family

it's a shame it's not on the NSO service but given the games still carry a lot of depth and visually can be quite nice like super Mario Sunshine still holds up so I can understand why Nintendo would remaster and resell them.

If they just had used dvds and allowed dvd playback they could have done far better that gen considering the power the cube actually had it was a Xbox style gpu far superior than the PS2 was but because they used a storage media with 1.4 gb the games had to be compressed which often lead to lower resolution textures squished onto a disc making the games look worse

I miss my GameCube! It was destroyed due to the flood(flash flood to be exact) but I saved some of its games like zelda wind waker, RE4, Metroid prime, SM Sunshine, and more.
