FTC lawyer does quick off-the-cuff math to determine Activision CEO Bobby Kotick's stock would be worth $400 million, which he doesn't directly clarify.
ARK: Survival Ascended has introduced Premium Mods on consoles. Wccftech talked to Studio Wildcard and their partner Overwolf about the rising importance of user-generated content, especially for live service games.
Following a recent interview with Sony, Naughty Dog head Neil Druckmann claims the original intent was “unfortunately lost” in the process.
Glad he clarified it but i'm still somewhat skeptical. Plus, his comments about how Ai will revolutionize storytelling were still pretty iffy.
Druckmann claims the tech could 'push the boundaries of storytelling in games.'
I’m more interested in what else he said.
“Neil Druckmann says new Naughty Dog title could ‘redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming’
He also said it has "ethical issues we need to address" but of course that doesn't get the clicks.
I’m all for it. Cuts the time to make a game. Look, Hellblade 2 took 5 years to make, if AI can do that in half the time, as a consumer, I support it.
And just like the Bethesda buy up the only people that benefit are the already wealthy CEOs and shareholders, workers and gamers get the middle finger.
I'd bet his tickets on the train to "getting himself out of trouble if the deal goes through," are worth even more.
That boh bouta get paid
What merger, I thought it was a buyout wtf.
Anyway, not surprised to hear that. No wonder Kotick wants that deal to happen. It's that company where the CEO only makes about 300 times as much as the lowest paid employee, when the CEO's "work" is so demanding that he has plenty of time to sit at the boards of a half-dozen other companies, and his employees have to resort to using the freely given coffee and sugar to fight hunger because they're so poor they don't even eat to repletion.
But questionable morality isn't a part of the equation here I assume...
Can't stand looking at this weasel
