the new timeline is the best thing that could have happened. literally every MK game before this has been the same or heading the same direction story wise. this new timeline is a much needed breather. the scorpion and subzero blood brotherhood is a very interesting dynamic and raiden being a mortal who kang recruits is also interesting.

Then play MK Onslaught when it launches instead. It uses the MK11 character iterations and is based on the previous timelines.
