Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun - PS5 Review - PlayStation Country

Michael Kitchin writes, "This renaissance of old school first-person shooters has really given us some gems. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun can comfortably add itself to that list. The combat is tight and frenetic with an ensemble of effective weaponry. Levels feel large and varied, although the lack of a map can lead to some confusing moments. The fiction and lore has never been my thing but it does seem to fit this very straight-forward, no nonsense effort. Enjoyable and rewarding from start to finish."

Wow hyped for Control Ultimate edition!

spicelicka97d ago

New games + Reruns + Day one releases + exclusives = win for me.

OtterX97d ago

A good game is a good game, even if it's older.

You should be, Control was fantastic, and the DLC as well.

Amazing month!

Control Ultimate Edition! Absolutely amazing game!

Fourth MBL game on Gamepass! Nice!

Lightyear Frontier Day One!

Petebloodyonion97d ago

Well, Control has been offered for free on anything that offers a subscription, it's basically like having a blast because they are offering GTA5.
Since No More Heroes 3, War hammer, and MLB the Show make this a nice month.

crazyCoconuts97d ago

It was even free non subscription - Epic
I have it on all platforms and stores lol

The ultimate edition with all the DLC?

Petebloodyonion97d ago (Edited 97d ago )

Yes the ultimate edition was free on Epic I got it too.
FYI the PC version is the Ultimate version by default in term of Ray tracing and other bells and Whistles
Don't know about the DLC since I already had the game on Epic

Nothing of interest for me to play, I've already played Control. I'll just keep playing P3:Reload on GP.

Not gonna lie, I'm hoping this goes to PS+ also bc my kids want to play it, but I don't think it's worth actually buying. XD

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is what I would best describe as a mechanically solid, yet fundamentally flawed experience. It controls great, shooting (with the boltgun at least) feels great, and the sprite work is very impressive for the enemies and weapons. On the other hand, it reaches its peak early, and there are some nasty frame drops every once in a while and very questionable level design. "
