Yea agreed. I was really hoping as well that you could do presets for armor, favorite items and armor, manual sort, more QOL...but no, it's pretty much very the same as botw. I also really hate the dpad up and throw item selection where it's all in one row lol like wtf.

I can’t seem to figure out how to do this.

if you mean throwing an item, you just hold R1 (or whatever switch is) and link will hold back like he is going to throw his weapon, but while holding you push up on d-pad and select an item, and then it'll switch the weapon out for the item. Then let go of R1 to throw.

The menus are a bit messy and very similar to the layout of Horizon. It's a big mess. There are so many types of items. I always felt that way about BotW but it was still manageable. Maybe they could have isolated the consumable items from combat items a bit better. IMO, It doesn't break the immersion of the game though.

I kind of agree but not to that extent. They’re messy, but honestly with THIS many items you can pick up, how to you make it better? Every massive RPG with a ton of items you can carry has messy menus and it’s common complaint. Genuine question, does anyone know of any games that are similar that has a better menu style? Be interested to see them.
