Review - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Whatever gripes I may have faced during my dozens, perhaps hundreds of hours with Tears of the Kingdom, don’t make it any less engrossing and amazing. It’s not perfect, it’s not my favorite Zelda game of all time, it’s not even the best game we’ve played and reviewed in 2023. But does that really matter? At the end of the day, it’s an improvement over Breath of the Wild, a really impossible task that Eiji Aonuma managed to achieve. The ultimate “get lost and write your own experience with it” adventure, the one game to shut up those who complain about framerates and resolutions, and possibly a mic drop of a swan song for the Nintendo Switch, because we sure as hell need a successor to it. In short, Tears of the Kingdom lived up to the hype. And I couldn’t be happier about it."

I've already put in over 40 hours and still not close in beating the game 😂

I have no idea my hours. But same. This game is ADHD simulator. I make a waypoint, find something along the way. Follow that for a bit. Find something else, follow that. Before I know it, 5 hours has gone by and I’m FARTHER away from my waypoint than I started lol

Yea did 2 of the 4 main quests and now have just been exploring doing side quests unlocking the map, I've built my own house and helped a town select a mayor amongst a whole bungle of other things.

Atleast 50 hrs in at this point, the world is seriously dense, like there is a distraction at every point lol. Makes it hard to turn off when it's bed time and your likenok last side mission, last cave, last shrine, last stable 😂😂
