Enjoy. This game is super fun. I really enjoyed it

Good, great games should be on as many platforms as possible

MadLad365d ago (Edited 365d ago )

Microsoft has done a whole lot more to bring games to more people than just those holding their controller than the other two of the big three.

edit - Three dislikes in 2 minutes. Not another comment made on the article in half an hour. Not saying multiple accounts. Just saying weird.

@madlad
Are you talking about x cloud?

Would really like to see player data comparisons between playstation and xcloud for Deathloop and Ghostwire...

Didn't get the reason to call out Microsoft for that reason. Highly supported PC for better than two decades now. Has tried to make deals with Nintendo in the past. Allows Gamepass on any platform that will allow it. Has been the only of the big three who actually properly supported backwards compatibility in decades.

They've definitely kept their ecosystem way more accessible than the other two. But the idea that they might keep some of the IP that they actually own? Blasphemy.
There have been people criticizing some of the acquisitions that they've made, but they seem to be the same people praying Sony grabs Square Enix, Konami, Capcom.

At least when Microsoft grabs a company, I know I'll be able to play it on my PC. When Sony does I question if I'll be able to do the same, will I wait years, paying full price, and praying that it actually runs on hardware twice as powerful as the hardware it came out on.

And Nintendo just sues you into oblivion if you look at them the wrong way.

You can change your name but not your comment history.

"This site is funny though.
In about two years I've seen this site go from 'Sony would never put their games on PC. It would hurt the image of the console' to 'Okay. Maybe they'll put their old PS4 games on PC for a little more profit; but it won't be their staple games' to 'Okay, maybe some PS5 games; but the true heavy hitters like God of War and, especially, Spiderman will never be on PC'. Now it's just being hopeful there's a year's window between console and PC release, I guess making the game 'old news' now, though these are supposedly timeless classics people should play time and time again, years after the fact.

"I've been calling this pretty much since the beginning; we're getting closer and closer to what I believe to be a 3 - 6 month exclusivity Window if not day one for some titles.

"As mainly a PC gamer, consoles are becoming 100% irrelevant to me. Unless I'm traveling, I don't see the point in owning them anymore."

Took less time to find that than to copy and paste it.

@madlad

Except that's entirely false. They barely had exclusives so there was nothing to bring to more gamers. On the other hand I'm pretty sure PlayStation either has just as many or is close to having just as many exclusive games on PC as Microsoft. Even if not quite there yet Microsoft did remove pretty much 60% or more of the gaming audience from getting access to IP they normally would have had access to on their platform of choice.

That's a shit ton of people affected.

@raul

I asked a mod to change my name because people like you overreact and go on insane tangents like this. The same several people go at me with their several accounts and attack anything I say.

You're free to have a conversation on any of the several comments you pulled up. Maybe fight me on the things I stated above. I'm not afraid of being me on here. Just dealing with ten different yous all at one time gets tiring.

Your post history is also available for those interested. I feel mine seems less biased.

Does Microsoft live rent-free in your head?

I think exclusives are a must. Otherwise, there's no incentive to picking your console over the competitor's.

Let's put it this way, I chose Playstation as my primary console due to its exclusives and all the multiplatform games. I only touch my Xbox and Switch for the exclusives they have and when it comes to Xbox... it's pretty much a paper weight at the moment.

Terry_B365d ago

Exclusives are important of course, but I think third party exclusives are a pain.

I love this game. Highly recommend it to everyone
