Sony owns a fair few iconic franchises - many dating right back to the original PlayStation. Prices are now in-line with most consumer-grade M.2 2230 Gen 4 Nvme.
Still much pricier than the M.2 2280 that the PS5 and most PCs use though.
I wish Microsoft would allow us to plug in multiple expansion cards at the same time

Key takeaway it's great to have a price drop finally but it's still more expensive than market value for equivalent drives.
They need to open it up to more third parties to build these cards to drive prices down
