They should've waited until next yr and dropped it with Switch 2 or w.e.
At this point, you can just grab steam deck and emulate the better play experience.

"Better play experience" on Steam Deck emulating Switch games -- eh, hardly. You get about the same as Switch performance in some games, but most games will lag on Steam Deck. For example Metroid Dread plays almost perfectly on the Steam Deck with occasional level traversal stutter that you don't get on Switch. Mario Odyssey is an unstable 40-60 fps on Steam Deck where it is a stable 60 fps on Switch.
