Good. I love it when the underdog succeeds. Well done to them!

Bathyj389d ago

Yep. This game could have gone so sideways. Happy to see it didn't.

IamTylerDurden1388d ago

Awesome. Still baffled as to how it scored well but i root for DI.

Over 1 million sold in just 3 days is Great Numbers Still need to get my Copy

neutralgamer1992389d ago

It’s a fun game something missing from many games now a days. Comparing to dying light this is much more fun even though both series are excellent in my opinion

CantThinkOfAUsername389d ago

This is the first time a game goes through development hell, changes studios and designs, then ends up being a success. Everyone at Dambuster Studios should be proud.

blackblades389d ago

Yeah usually that's a sign of failure. Also it shows that no one should count a game out until its out and out for a 1 week.

bangoskank389d ago

I happy for Dam Busters. If Jedi Survivor and Tears of the Kingdom weren't right around the corner I'd buy this but money and time are scarce.

FPSRUSSIA389d ago

over 1 million have bought this game even with those games coming out Looking forward to Jedi Survivor.

bangoskank388d ago (Edited 388d ago )

Not all of us can afford to spend money on three games per month. There are other important things like bills, making sure children are cared for, food, gas, etc. Inflation doesn't help. Glad it's doing well but I'll be patient and play when I'm ready.

jznrpg388d ago (Edited 388d ago )

I have the money but I have a stack of PS5 games I still need to get to and PSVR2 games. Some games I wait. I bought Trinity Trigger day 1 because I want to support rpg games and particular devs that makes games I enjoy the most.
But some of these games like Dead Island 2 I will wait for a physical sale because I know I am not going to play it anytime soon.

I already have a bunch of other games preordered too like FF16. Just lack of time and why spend full price for every game?

bangoskank388d ago

Exactly. Throwing money at games that will just end up in my ever growing backlog is just dumb and irresponsible. Tears of the Kingdom is one of those games however that does not end up in my backlog. Same with Jedi Survivor. RE4 Remake, Ragnarok, and Dead Space Remake were those types of games as well. I guess that's all subjective though.

Yui_Suzumiya384d ago

Same here.. still got about 30 Switch games and about 20 games on my laptop, lol .. and they're mostly just visual novels which takes me weeks to get through one to begin with, lol

Another Stealth Drop on Gamepass!

Let´s kill some Zombies!

Kornholic85d ago

Instead of helping the developers and publishers recuperate development and marketing costs by buying the games you are interested in so that they can keep creating new games in the future, you place the burden on PS and PC gamers (who actually buy games) to fund the game development.

That is Game Pass in a nutshell.

redrum0685d ago

Ok, so what's Sony doing with their Extra and Premium subscription then?

Lightning7785d ago

Valve gave this game away for free last week. You need to go after them?

You realize MS pays the devs to get the game on GP right?

Kornholic84d ago

Sony is offering a service where games that are past their self life can generate more income. That's not Sony's main strategy for games and gamers.

Game Pass is for many developers/publishers the only CHANCE to even make SOME money on Xbox platform. Xbox's main strategy is Game Pass, and Xbox gamers don't buy games the same way PS and PC players do, and that is not sustainable.

Not on PC Game Pass, for some reason?

bunt-custardly85d ago

Yeh, I checked that (sad face). Only option for PC gamers with Ultimate is to cloud stream.

Gamingsince198185d ago

It's on torent sites though so if you want it free like most xbox users just get it there

Asplundh85d ago (Edited 85d ago )

Free? Pretty sure I pay a monthly subscription to access the games.

Snookies1285d ago (Edited 85d ago )

Nah, I'm good on that man. I used to torrent games when I was younger, not anymore though. Not trying to get my $2000 PC infected with malware. Plus, I've got a decent job so I can afford to buy my games/subscriptions.

InUrFoxHole85d ago

That's crappy. Should be on both

Christopher85d ago

LIcensing to include PC is much more expensive than just console. Especially for a non-GaaS game.

Profchaos84d ago

But they want to grow gamepass on PC so really they should still try and license both it's not uncommon however e.g. red dead redemption 2, GTA v both came to console gamepass and xcloud but not PC.

Christopher83d ago

Both of the games you listed are very heavy on GaaS/seasonal MTX.
