Gamepass is going to be stacked with some interesting variety of games soon.
Looking forward to trying out BlazBlue, The Last Case of Benedict Fox and Redfall myself.

Lore390d ago

Sounds like things gamepass users have been saying for years

gangsta_red390d ago

And been getting for all those years too. These upcoming months are no different

onisama390d ago

Yeah we've been getting lot of great games all those years.. Someone here was saying the same and then told me he doesnt know the gamepss game list... I recommend you to go and search...
Love xbox or hate it but gamepass is the greatest value in gaming

Lore390d ago

Gamepass has not had a single game come to the service that I buy day one to play. Every gamer is different, but it has absolutely NO value to me whatsoever. Would have been a waste of $180 per year for the past 5 years. To each their own!

Hofstaderman390d ago

Bragging about a service….

GotGame818390d ago

Say what you want about GP. There are a ton of great games on it. Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 5, Hi-Fi Rush, Halo Infinite, Gears 5, Plague Tale Requiem, Mass Effect Remastered collection, Deathloop, Ghostwire, The Show 23, PsycoNauts 2, Halo Master Chief Collection, Monster Hunter Rise, Atomic Heart, Assassins Creed Odyssey/Origins,, High on Life, and a bunch more. Such crappie games.🙄

onisama390d ago

@Lore 180$... You buy it from vergine store? You can sub to xbox gamepass for 7$ a month from xbox store or even less on keystores i get a year for 50$ (12$ for 3 month sub)

Thats alone is less than what i wouldve paid for atomic heart, now were getting minecraft legends redfall lies of P gears strive MBL 23 tokyo ghostwire ni no kuni 2 persona 3 4 wo long soul hacker 2 cities skyline 1 and 2 jojo MH rise and hifi rush... I just told you some of the games we get this first half... This is for 25$ (half a year).... Im all i. Your free to worship your plastic box

Lore390d ago

@Onisama

I don’t want to assume your age, but regardless you don’t seem to pay attention to what you read.

I never said there aren’t decent games for the service. I stated that the games I buy each year have not showed up on the service and most DEFINITELY did not show up day one. 2021 was Tales of Arise, RE Village, Ys IX, and a few other bangers. 2022 was a bit lighter but Elden Ring was a big one that took a lot of my time. This year are games that would never touch GP.

As I stated, to each their own

Great variety indeed.

BlazBlue and The Last Case of Benedict Fox for me. I´ll be waiting on that sweet 60fps update for Refall on the SX.

gangsta_red390d ago

Yeah, I was looking forward to Benedict Fox more than anything else. Game looks really good.

IamTylerDurden1390d ago (Edited 390d ago )

Hope Fox is good, Redfall isn't what i'm looking for, and Dynasty came out on GP already. Also, no more Coffee Talk, who tf plays it?

Loving Loop Hero and MLB though. Atomic Heart was nice. GP been great recently. Minecraft Legends looks like a miss tho.

monkey602391d ago

I didnt realise Benedict Fox was so soon! I'll be trying Redfall too

IamTylerDurden1390d ago

Fox looks like it has potential but i see flaws also. Could be a low 80's in one theory or low to mid 70's. Curious to see.

neutralgamer1992390d ago

They should delay redfall till they can get the 60FPS patch and offline play being possible ready. This is a 1st party game and Ms don't need to rush it

crazyCoconuts390d ago

But then wouldn't GamePass subscribers be upset with a light month?

spicelicka390d ago

Gamepass has too many great games to ever be upset. Greatest value in gaming history. Was considering picking up Monster Hunter rise and realized it's already on Gamepass.

thesoftware730390d ago (Edited 390d ago )

The only people complaining about GP are those who don't even like the service or don't sub. If a person think it sucks or is light on games, you would be a dumbass to keep paying for it.

Logic 101, if you don't like something, don't pay for it.

IamTylerDurden1390d ago

When major games advertised for GP are delayed i have the right to be upset. These cultists who take everything and question nothing are a problem. Like the ppl who made excuses and praised Phil when Starfield and Redfall were delayed out of 2022. Dif situation but Stalker was also advertised for a 2022 GP release. Those 3 games are part of why i resubbed that year. Ppl can be disappointed when this happens. You don't have to do PR for MS they are already quite good at PR on their own.

thesoftware730390d ago (Edited 390d ago )

There are already 50 articles on here discussing that, no need to bring it into this thread as well, it will only start the same landslide. It's ok not to DL it, wait for the 60fps patch, and let the peeps who don't mind the 30fps play it on the 2nd.

Anyway,
Benedict Fox, and Redfall, here I come. I will also try out MC: Legends with my kid.

neutralgamer1992390d ago

crazyCoconuts

Even though I am subbed till 2025 I think it's a great service as long as you have time to enjoy those games. For me personally service will be great once RPG's from Bethesda and obsidian start rolling out

thesoftware730

I disagree people do have a right to be disappointed. As someone who bought XSX for starfield I have been disappointed that it has gotten so many delays. Ms need to stop showing games which are years away

crazyCoconuts

Vast majority would understand the need for a delay though

thesoftware730390d ago (Edited 390d ago )

Neutral,
Huh? I never said you couldn't be disappointed...

You asked for a delay of the game because of the 30fps, and I said if you feel that way, just wait for the 60fps. I never invalidated your feeling of disappointment. You did that to others, as I would be disappointed if the game was delayed again.

I also strongly believe that if you have GP subbed all the way to 2025, and a game gets delayed, and you are truly unhappy with the service as a whole, you should call MS and demand they stop your service and pro-rate you a refund.

Over 70 games got delayed in 2022, while it's a bummer, this is the nature of video games, even more so after covid, MS games are just that, games, so they are subject to possible delays like any other game, them launching into GP doesn't change that. No different than pre-ordering a game that gets delayed and you are entitled to ask for your money back.

Disappointments are a fact of life, how you deal with it is your choice, for example...if GP continues to let you down, do what I said above, or don't resub in 2025, and go back to pre-ordering your games for $70....a delay might still happen with a game, but in the end, it comes down to not paying for something that constantly disappoints you. Fool me once, it's on you; fool me twice, it's on me.

Traecy390d ago

I will try Benedict Fox & Redfall on GP.

Xbox Game Pass Is Running Out Of Wells To Dig Up New Subscribers

With Microsoft’s long list of poor messaging and poor decisions this week, combined with rumors of behind-the-scenes problems with some of its top games, one frequent point that keeps coming up is how much weight has been thrown behind Xbox/PC/Ultimate Game Pass.

ApocalypseShadow5h ago(Edited 5h ago)

Well fancy that. A Forbes article with common sense.

Microsoft's only shot to get more gamers, being the devils advocate, is to go Mobile and free to play with ads to grow their fan base. With maybe a subscription to games like cod on Mobile to get more to buy in what they are offering.

But mobile isn't like consoles or PC at all. You can't charge huge amounts for games because that platform is used to cheap or free content. Can't go to Nintendo and Sony with game pass because they'(competitors) aren't stupid to destroy their own platforms with Microsoft's rental service. And PC gamers dabble with it but they're fine with Steam and other, similar offerings. Casuals are their target but do casuals really care because up to this point, they haven't.

They put themselves in a bind and I'm not sorry for them in the least. When you kill your own sales of hardware and software, you groom your base to not buy but to rent, and do everything you can but do what works for Nintendo and Sony in creating games that grow the industry, this is the results. Dead last.

Why was/is it so hard to just make great games and from that, EARN respect that would lead to an increase in consumers? Never made sense how stupid they are when they had the finances to compete and pretty much outdo Nintendo and Sony combined. They just chose greed and annual fees and lack of effort instead.

Xbox Gives Incoherent Explanation For ‘Hi-Fi Rush’ Studio Closure

The gaming world is still reeling from the announcement that Microsoft is shuttering Tango Gameworks, the studio behind last year’s big Xbox hit, Hi-Fi Rush.

Relientk7719h ago

There's no logical or good reason to give for closing Tango Gameworks. They make great games consistently and Hi-Fi Rush was the highest rated Xbox game in literal YEARS. Closing the studio was just plain stupid and nonsensical.

notachance14m ago

It’s quite strange to not see Phil Spencer in any talkshow or podcast… usually the dude would talk almost daily when there’s even a bit of news from xbox.

purple10112m ago

Perhaps they think they can sweep this one under the rug, gamers will forget about it,

We will not

They made a good game and you put the whole studio in the bin, this couldn’t be clearer, ms don’t care, everyone suspected it, but now we KNOW it
