GameZebo: "From characters to mini-games, everything in Lost Realms matches the story very well. A young woman has persistent dreams about a lost Incan kingdom. She finally decides to travel to Peru to investigate, and her best friend, through skeptical, invites herself along. This is the beginning of a quest, complete with a beautiful maiden as a ghostly spirit guide, to recover the pieces of the lost crown of the Incan Emperor. Although there's not much more to the plot, it works well, and the characters are interesting."
Electric Playground:
"Since many hidden object games are essentially the same, it's often their bonuses that set them apart, like minigames and extra puzzles. Lost Realms offers both, and many of them are pretty clever. When was the last time you made some pottery in order to earn an extra hint? I also like the star chart puzzle and there are few more good surprises in store. The story is also pretty good, though I have to wonder why they made so many screens slightly scrollable, allowing you to move an inch or two off screen. It doesn't really add much. Still, Lost Realms is a serviceable hidden object game."
