Diehard GameFAN: Safecracker Review

Safecracker isn't a very bad game. Its just underwhelming in every aspect as soon as you get over the fact that it's an okay game from Kheops. Having said that, simple changes would have made this game go from below average to maybe even above average. If this game didn't have the load times that it did or a bit more care was taken with the story Diehard GameFAN could even recommend this to the adventure game playing crowd. As it stands now though, Safecracker is a rental at best for even the most hardcore adventure gamers.

148apps - Safe Cracker, although theoretically based on a good idea, falls short on delivering the bank heist experience that most will be expecting. It's repetitive levels and looping soundtrack certainly don't help.

Nintendo Life: Safecracker Review

It's safe to say this wouldn't even be seeing a release on DS without the popularity of Professor Layton, but the two couldn't be more different. Layton is full of character, class and polish; Safecracker is a musty antique, lacking any spark or wit. Do yourself a favour and grab one of the DS's many other accomplished puzzle games before attempting to crack this one.

Safecracker gets DS version

9lives.be: "The Adventure Company has just announced that the videogame Safecracker will be released on Nintendo DS. The game is already available for Nintendo Wii and pc. The Nintendo DS version is expected to hit stores during Q4 2009."
