PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for April: Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Tails of Iron

The Monthly Games lineup of Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Tails of Iron will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, April 4 until Monday May 1.

I actually only have one PS5 controller, so what we did was set up my 4k monitor next to the TV, I played on the PS5 and she played on the PS4. That's one of the perks of a digital copy is the free extra copy you get cross-console. :)

Sack boys adventure is great. It lacks a little something that’s hard to put your finger on but It’s still a great little platformer.

The other 2 titles though look crap.

The concept of Meet Your Maker is amazing but it's awful art direction and lack of variety in Traps is pretty bad. I'm hoping someone else takes that concept and pushes it further

Tails of Iron is fantastic. One of my favorite indies this gen and 83 Opencritic. 84 Meta on XB which is where i played it. Incredible art, unique combat, and Doug Cockle aka Geralt narrating. It's a gem. Meet Your Maker imo has looked intriguing. It didn't come out of nowhere either. It's been on the radar for a while.

It's a good dollar store version of Super Mario 3D World. I would recommend for PS plus members.

I played Super Mario 3D World. It was a good dollar store version of Astro Bot Rescue Mission and I'd recommend picking it up in a sale... but Nintendo don't really do sales.

Sackboy is a quality 3D platformer with exceptional co op and an 80+ Opencritic. It's endearing and solid fun. It controls better than LBP but lacks the creation. The trials are challenging and i enjoyed platinuming it with a friend. Some of the best co op design i played that year. Great music. It's not meant to be Mario.

Tails of Iron is really underrated. I got it day one, had fun playing it, and even platinumed it. It even has the voice actor who does Geralt from The Witcher.

Tails of Iron is sublime. Mole Town was a nice surprise. The boss that was a rat version of Thor. Doug Cockle. I love that game. Challenging but not overly. Free expansion as well.

Sackboys Big Adventure is actually a 2nd party game. The IP is owned by PlayStation, but its development was contracted to Sumo Digital, the same group that developed Crackdown 3.

Gangsta aint changed since the old days. The Septic, Krib, Gangsta's of N4G still going full troll. It's sad.

I prefer PS but i enjoy my XB/Gamepass. The sheer inability to admit anything is ever good on the opposing side is childish. When we got Scourgebringer on GwG i was pleased. When i enjoy a day 1 release on Gamepass i rave about it. To essentially call this month trash is either uninformed or a troll job and essential has remained solid despite extra and premium.

Sackboy was a significant exclusive that rated 80+. Tails of Iron is a superb indie with an 84 Meta on XB which is where i played. Meet Your Maker is a fairly anticipated day 1 indie. If u haven't heard of it you probably don't follow gaming as much as you claim. That's a solid batch of titles.

They're celebrating because they actually get good games, most months of PS Plus Essential are pretty good for what they give you. They've also been vocal when the monthly games are less than stellar compared to previous months, which doesn't happen very often thankfully.

The Xbox fans here are the saltiest bunch I've ever seen and they don't let anyone forget that fact, the PS fans don't whinge or cry anywhere near as much.

Sackboy is a solid 80+ exclusive, Tails of Iron was one of the better indies this gen (84 Meta XB) and a game i adore, and Meet Your Maker has been on the radar for a while and is a day 1.

I enjoyed Sackboy back when it was first released, the other 2 I have no interest in playing. Thankfully I have several games to play that I've bought to keep me busy playing my PS5.

I've noticed on this site that, typically, if a service gets a day one release, and it's not a giant AAA experience, the majority just discount it and call it filler.

Just switched to PS5. Glad I did b/c Games with Gold became the biggest joke. I get gamepass is cool but I feel like I got access to a ton of free games (imo better games) with PS plus extra??? Shoulda made the switch sooner. Still have my series x since I have about 500 games tied to my account (xbox owner since launch day of the original xbox) but I feel like the majority of my gaming will be on the ps5
