Im seriously getting excited for this game!
Can't wait to see more... The scope and scale and magnificence of the graphics is incredible!

ChanDangle5609d ago

Does it give you a raging clue?

Gray25609d ago

lol I'm getting a raging clue right now

Awookie5609d ago

oh man im about to squirt clue goo all over

LeonSKennedy4Life5609d ago

It's a South Park reference, dude. The Hardy Boys were totally gay and they were talking about getting Raging Clues.

It was amazing!

shazam5609d ago

omg this game looks so good it looks ray traced

StephanieBBB5609d ago (Edited 5609d ago )

Let me explain. They have very narrow and strict ways to move and by doing this they can push the visuals high as the sky. This is a smart way to not getting limited by the hardware your working with and fooling the player to think that the game is better looking/incorporates more freedom than it acually is.

Still I could be wrong. Have to play the game and see for myself.

legendkilla5609d ago

this game looks so good it's crazy! OMFG!!!

Sony PlayStation 35609d ago

My excitement for this game grows everyday!

pixelsword5608d ago

...so a raging clue means you have a happy for this game.

thewhoopimen5608d ago

Gears of War2 syndrome? Wouldn't practically ever FPS or TPS the same "problem" then? Also... what would be your point? Even if it does follow the so called "syndrome" it looks better than anything with the same "syndrome" (excluding maybe KZ2/Crysis). Look at the curves on the chairs and the lamp. Curves! Not angular! Very impressive.

@ 1.7 StephanieBBB
Yeah I think I know what you are talking about. Games only look as good as what the developers want you to see. In a game like this it may look amazing and be fairly non-linear, but something might be sacrificed such as possible places to go. Each stage/level might offer 3 choices causing the story to branch off many ways, but it is still restricted. ...Ehh Having a hard time explaining it in writing, but it doesn't matter as I am still high anticipating its arrival. I have no doubt it will be a fantastic experience.

DeforMAKulizer5608d ago

Thanks for the clear up guys... Love south park but haven't seen the episode.. Thought it might be related to the "excitement" part hehe...
Anyways, can't wait to see those screenshots in action!

this game is going to be insane.

i wonder if a sequel to indigo prophecy is in the future as well.

Elven65609d ago

Maybe but us Omikron fans have been waiting much longer ;)

This game looks amazing but my only fear is a reduction in graphical quality when stuff is actually on screen like in those station pictures assuming their will be people in them.

meepmoopmeep5608d ago

i'm avoiding anything about this game. don't want to spoil anything.

but yeah, i really liked Indigo. hopefully they'll make another one, but the surprises are gone though

LeonSKennedy4Life5609d ago

Look at that face! How the frick did they get it to look like that?

LeonSKennedy4Life5608d ago

In this case, "graphics" is used in the plural form. That constitutes the word "are" instead of "is", like you have typed out here.

Please stop comparing video games to movies

"Many video games catch not only great commercial attention but remarkable critical attention as well. We have seen games like Heavy Rain, The Last of Us Part II, and even entries in the Metal Gear series described as fantastic interactive experiences, even heralded in the same way as Hollywood's greatest films.

I would suggest that not only is this an unfair comparison but also a harmful one. Video games, by their very nature, are an intricately different medium and should be weighed against one another rather than another form of media," Phillip writes for GF365.

Yes, please stop. They're better than most hollywood drivel nowadays.

BLAKHOODe1276d ago

I think Hollywood films will becoming increasingly more like video games in the future, especially as the world embraces the "new normal" from the pandemic. It makes sense, as games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales showcase just how realistically we're reaching in graphical capabilities, as well as showcase extreme action sequences in spectacular ways. And as time goes by, it'll get easier and cheaper to produce such "art", as well as create new star "actors" that never age, never die, never complain, never gets involved in scandals, etc. Technology is amazing and we're only just getting a taste of what it'll eventually be.

sourOG1276d ago

No. Some games are like movies.

medman1275d ago (Edited 1275d ago )

No. For the money spent, a quality game provides far more entertainment value than a quality movie. Especially when looking at what is going on in the world, and how a studio can attempt to pilfer from consumers by charging 30 dollars for Mulan via streaming. Ridiculous. There is no comparison....games all day.

Have you played Detroit? While it’s my personal favorite, I fully understand many preferring Heavy Rain more. I’m glad you enjoyed Heavy Rain too.

bouzebbal1433d ago

def. one of my top 3 best experiences on PS3

ClayRules20121433d ago

bouzebbal

That’s awesome to hear! What’re the other 2 best experiences?

akaFullMetal1433d ago

Great game, need to get started on Detroit soon.

ClayRules20121433d ago

Glad you enjoyed the game! Yes, Detroit is a masterpiece of a game, and their best work to date “in my opinion”

ClayRules20121433d ago

Wow, 10 years...and yet, still one of the best/most emotional/thrilling gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

So grateful to Sony for believing in Quantic Dream’s vision for this game, and giving them a chance. I’ll never forget David Cage saying “We want to challenge the player, but not with the controller, but mentally, with their decisions of “How far would you go to save someone you love” Well, they broke my emotional gamer heart lol.

My teenage son refuses to play this game, because I’ve told him in little detail the emotional impact it had on me all those years ago. Maybe one day he will.

Z5011433d ago

Still have my origami crane they teach you how to make when you're installing for the first time.

C-H-E-F1433d ago

it's been 10 years? wow, that was so fast, I feel like this console gen went fast as well although it hasn't. I really look forward to the PS5 this holiday season though.
