Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is a fun and challenging action-platformer that will stimulate the part of the older gamers’ brains that loves nostalgia, while teaching a new generation that a 2D game can still be great, even in 2023.
Dead Cells developer Motion Twin has confirmed that Update 35 - The End is Near - will be the game's swansong, will plans to extend coverage into 2025 now cancelled.

Publisher Merge Games and developer Motion Twin have announced new physical and special editions of roguelite platformer Dead Cells including the downloadable content “Return to Castlevania” (plus all previous downloadable content and updates) for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch. It will launch on August 11. It is also the first appearance of a native PlayStation 5 version.
Good game! I already have the PS4 game with all the DLC. With loading times being nothing, there's no reason to buy it again for me. If you haven't picked this up and love Castlevania and roguelike games, it might be worth it to grab the all in one PS5 version when it comes out
