I'm trying to decide if it's worth holding onto my psvr 2. I enjoy what it has currently, but it seems unlikely to get anything else. Might be better off just waiting for something with more support if that ever comes.
GT7 surprised me, because I hate racing games, but i poured 100 hours into it way too quickly.
I’m looking forward to the Metro VR game this year, and I hope that WW2 dogfighter game releases eventually.
I have most of them 😅
Waiting for a sale on Synapse and Arizona Sunshine 2.....also Metro coming this year looks great.
Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that the multiplatform title Resident Evil 4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide approximately one year after its release.
Man, when RE4 first came out it really revolutionized things. I know you may think hyperbole, but back then you never played a third-person shooter with first-person kind of aiming controls. It was really something and I played the hell out of this game on GameCube and PS2.
Now, I'm about to say something that's going to rile up some anger and I'm just adding a comment here and not trying to step on any toes. I played this on PS4 a couple weeks ago just to be able to really get a feel for changes and improvements and in my opinion, the game frustrated me to no end.
I'd say the first third of the game is exceptional, like all the village stuff. Once I got to the castle it felt long, kind of irritating to get through, and near the end of it I was just getting worn out from it. The controls aren't great anymore and I realize that's a testament to the evolution of controls and design improvements over the generations. I'm a completionist so I had to get all the bottle cap figurines and I'll tell you what it wasn't fun.
Then you get to the island and it's just waves and waves and waves of enemies in really uninspired areas. Regenerators are cool, but man the bit after the Krauser fight is just an endurance run and I was playing on Professional and died a few times before getting to the part with the 3 turrets... and then the wrecking ball segment, the part where Ashley is driving the plow truck... at that point I was wanting the game to be finished.
With all that said, I do want to check this out for sure, but I really hope things are just maybe better paced, a little more varied, I dunno I'm just hoping it'll make me like 4 again.
