Metroid Prime Remastered Review - IGN

Metroid Prime Remastered honors a lauded classic and brings it up to code, fixing outdated controls and adding a slick coat of polygons and textures that make this masterpiece of a shooter shine once more.

One of my favorite games of all time. So glad to have it remastered on Switch. It looks and plays amazing!

I'm happy they remastered it but I just wish they would have released the trilogy. Can't support their greedy ways. Im enjoying it through emulation and motion controls on pc now since I was holding off for an announcement.

Greedy ways? But ur too cheap to not steal a game you enjoy pathetic excuse for u stealing and pirating new games. Ur the reason why we ain’t getting no trilogy Cus think of u can sell 3 games and get different sales per game vs one single game that ppl are gona steal anyways and lose more money. Lol u call it greedy XD

I usually shit on Nintendo 60 dollar ports ,over priced games and other shenanigans...but i see nothing wrong with the pricing on this one. I've seen comparison videos and it is a big improvement. I almost feel like calling it a remake as i think it looks better than some newer switch games. And it is 40 bucks. Bravo Nintendo.

It's Nintendo so of course it gets a 10. They could release a blank game cart and get an automatic 9.5.

Because Nintendo knows what’s up and prioritizes fun gameplay above anything else. Gaming in general would benefit immensely if people aren’t so obsessed with games that have pretty graphics but have mediocre and uninspired gameplay.

Flakegriffin450d ago (Edited 450d ago )

Exactly. People worry so much about graphics and not the game itself. The fact Nintendo shadow dropped a Metroid Prime Remaster AND the fact that it’s more of a remake rather than remaster is what’s incredible. Also, the fact they didn’t attempt to charge $70 for it, or even $60, is what’s even cooler. $40 for, basically, a remake of Metroid Prime. It doesn’t get any juicier than that.

A full game, remastered with no dlc, No microtransactions, no battle passes.

It's a Nintendo game getting a 10 so naturally an useless PS fanboy has to bitch and moan because he was reminded that Nintendo is able to create masterpieces.

Nintendo. Getting a Nostalgia pass since 2006. 10? Seriously?

NotoriousWhiz450d ago

Nostalgia is strong. True, but Nintendo games have a level of polish and focus on game play that is not seen in most other games.
