The gameplay they showed so far definitely looked too good to be true. I'm excited to see what the game actually looks like so far

I'm not convinced (given the developer's shady track record). Practically every trailer released thus far has had the game mirroring that gameplay to that of another popular franchise in the zombie/survival category.

The first gameplay trailer looked like that of TLOU (straight down to the crouching/crawl animations). The second trailer's gameplay looked like The Division. The more recent gameplay snippets has the game parroting Days Gone and State of Decay.

There's no way a game from such a small team (with a rocky past) can have that many distinct gameplay styles, much less, arrive in time by March (it's projected release date).
