To the delight of Elden Ring fans everywhere, FromSoftware's open-world juggernaut won the coveted Game of the Year award at this year's Game Awards. Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki gleefully took to the stage, only to be overshadowed by a random teenager who took the microphone to dedicate the award to his "reformed Orthodox rabbi Bill Clinton."
After the show, social media did what it does best and created dozens upon dozens of memes to truly drive home the absurdity of the situation. However, one Elden Ring fan wasn't content with just chuckling at all the jokes, and has taken it one step further by making that teenager's dream come true.
Saad from eXputer: "Utilizing its myriad strengths and masterful design, Elden Ring ruined gaming for me in a way I'll always be thankful for."
It sounds like you’re just an eldenring fan and not so much a fan of games by and large. Which theres nothing wrong with.
Elden ring ruined from software for me....maybe.
I hope their next game isn't open world too...
I loved it but yeah it is just overwhelmingly massive and confusing, I don’t think I’ll ever finish it.
The large-scale DLC "Shadow of the Golden Tree" for "Elden's Circle" will be released on June 21. This is the only additional content for "Elden's Circle" since its release two years ago, and according to public information, its size will also be the largest DLC since the founding of Fromsoftware.
The Souls-like genre remains popular, along with FromSoftware's classics there are many contenders. But which are the best Souls-like games?
Hmm... In my opinion, the 7 best are the 6 made by FromSoftware (DeS, DS1, DS2, DS3, BB and ER), then Lies of P. But each to their own.
That's not the reformed orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton I know. That's the old Bill Clinton.
lol, c’mon, the absurdity is funny
"I did NOT have sex with that maiden"
Josef Fares had to behave this year, so the kid stepped up
As funny as this mod is, they better heighten security at next year's event. That person could have easily done something far more grave than simply crashing the speech. I imagine Geoff is nervous about some people not attending next year's over this incident.
