In his 36-year career, Kojima has become one of the world’s best-known game directors – and he has never been keener to welcome fans into his world.
Pilestedt writes: "Very good question. First thing we got to do is ensure we get more devs time playing the game. It's hard to make the right decisions if the eyes aren't on the road.
Secondly, I want to ensure we actively look at the sentiment and create a holistic view of WHY feedback is given. And my working theory is that TTK is too high."
Druckmann claims the tech could 'push the boundaries of storytelling in games.'
I’m more interested in what else he said.
“Neil Druckmann says new Naughty Dog title could ‘redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming’
He also said it has "ethical issues we need to address" but of course that doesn't get the clicks.
I’m all for it. Cuts the time to make a game. Look, Hellblade 2 took 5 years to make, if AI can do that in half the time, as a consumer, I support it.
Hidetaka Miyazaki appeared in an interview to discuss the future of the Elden Ring DLC and FromSoftware's future plans.
I hope Bluepoint are working on BB remake..
Sony now seem to have lost it with all the gaas, i have no hope in seeing them approaching FS to make a sequel. I hope gamers will push Sony and show continuous disapproval to the gaas model
I don’t know how to feel, Armored Core just isn’t as good as Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and the like.
I hope he does a new IP instead
Fortunately, if you're not interested in the AC series, he doesn't say he plans to drop everything to work exclusively on the next one, as implied by the article header. Just general comments about it being an important series he wants to be involved with at some point.
For the full context of the article title:
''All Kojima will say about the other project is that it’s something he has wanted to make for years, but that the technology has never been sufficient until now. “It’s almost like a new medium,” he says. “If this succeeds, it will turn things around – not just in the game industry, but in the movie industry as well.” The challenge, Kojima says, is building the infrastructure: “you can have successful experiments, but there’s a long distance between an experiment and a place where it’s something that becomes a part of everyday usage.” From a business perspective, he says, the second or third person to attempt something new is more likely to succeed commercially. “For the first person, everything is hard. But I want to be the first. I want to keep being the first.”
I love MGS but let's be real here kojima
1- Konami gave you more than 5 years and 80 million to develop MGS5 yet you couldn't even finish it
2- Sony gave you a blank check and you made one of the most boring games
3- you left your fans back and tried chasing new fans with MGS5. we wanted a proper MGS not a wanna be. Story was hidden behind tapes instead of proper cutscenes
Yes I get it Konami treated you unfairly towards the end but what have you done with your creativity freedom. It's not matter of being first it should be instead matter of making the most fun games possible
Why is it that the one thing missing in most games now a days is FUN
i like most of his games, but hes also one that talks. alot. like, gimme them gamesss
Blah bloody blah, he said similar about death stranding and it was an irritating snore test.
