Konami Confirms Silent Hill News Dropping This Oct. 19, New Portal Site Opens

Konami is announcing something Silent Hill related this October 19, as a new web page opens up.

Not a new one though, it breaks my heart to say that but I just don't trust Konami to pull it off.

I'll absolutely take a remaster collection that makes the series playable on modern platforms though.

Actually, Konami did Portable Ops without Kojima, it was great! so there is potential there, and that's highly assuming any talented folks from old KP are still there.. I'm trying to be optimistic haha! Metal Gear is my favourite franchise man.

Yeah I agree Portable Ops was good, but it had Kojima foundations and the Konami of that era was alot different. I'd love to be optimistic since Metal Gear is my favourite too, but I've been burned too many times now.

Hope it's not a shitty cellphone game, a new pachinko machine, adding characters to another game. Announcing that Team Silent Hill is back together working on a new game would be great. But this is Konami so expect the unexpected.

I have a feeling we're going to see a movie trailer, game trailers for the smaller projects, and finally the Big Bertha of them all, the SH2 Remake!

Hopefully they are just licensing the IP to a more capable developer. I've lost ALL fatih in Konami.

But if they let a studio like Kojima Productions or BluePoint be in charge, I'm in.
