DS Fanboy writes: "IGN sneaked a preview and a bunch of videos out for Little Magician's Magic Adventure right before the holidays, and we didn't want to miss the chance to talk about it or to share it with any of you who might not have seen it. The game has another new name for North America: Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times, and IGN's preview makes it sound like a much deeper take on its obvious inspiration, Animal Crossing.
The pictograms that are used to string together spells can also be used to converse with neighbors: "Slide in the "greetings" tile and the characters will say hello back. Get more complex though, and the system allows you to combine these, by say, adding a greeting and then a weather icon to, at least in theory, talk about the weather with a character."
In this unique combination of an adventure game and simulation RPG players are tasked with attending classes in Magic Academy while learning the mysteries of magic and the art of casting spells while building relationships with other students. As players attend classes, build relationships and master the art of magic, they can explore the wonders of the enchanted world that surrounds them. Using their spell casting abilities and unique interactions with their surroundings players are confronted with puzzles and adventures that will challenge their skill.
