Come on :-), outside the volumetric nebulae which I do admire but am curious to see how expensive that one effect will be or if they'll go back it just being a skybox. The rest of the could easily run on a PS5. If you look at Horizon Forbidden West on the PS4, I wouldn't even be surprised if it could run on it as well at 30fps (some volumetric effects might have to be turned down but still). In a year or two's time we'll see games on the PS5 and XBSX that will be more technologically advanced.

Once/if it releases, I look forward to playing it though! I've wanted a new Wing Commander for a long time.

I think they meant PS6 as in how LONG it will take until the developer will release to consoles and not a comment on the current gen's abilities.

i'll say this, they have a version of the volumetric clouds (same tech they just for the nebulae i think) and it is very expensive. can really tank the fps.
