Publisher Square Enix and developer tri-Ace announced a playable demo for Star Ocean: The Divine Force. The new demo is launching across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on September 20th.
Fans can expect the demo to let you play through Raymond’s story until he gets to the first town – or roughly two hours of content.
Also included are Star Ocean The Divine Force, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Unpacking.
Hot damn those are some high quality games right there. I've been meaning to give 13 Sentinels a go, just haven't had the time to get around to it.
13 Sentinels is a must play if you haven't. Like, I can't praise enough what an awesome story and set of characters that game has.
The gaming community lately makes jokes about companies making games that look like "PS3" or "PS2" games. While this is such a nasty dig, there may be some truth to this in the case of tri-Ace.
Sad really. I used to love these guys but man...they just aren't what they used to be.
The Cod games have been using an engine built in the mid 90s. Nothing wrong with using an old engine if they update it. Bioshock used UE2 and looked better than most UE3 games. Arkham knight used UE3 and looked better than most UE4 games.
Sh it does suck but I enjoyed star ocean 6 the most out of any game last year. I thought it was solid af start to finish. My favorite game that year.
I'd love for Sony to get ahold of them.
Star Ocean: The Divine Force no longer appears to have the anti-tampering Denuvo DRM technology in the Steam version.
It doesn't need denuvo
Looks mediocre at best
Maybe it's a phenomenon in Asia
I'll be playing this all day tomorrow. It's my day off work
That's great. Because after the vile Integrity and Faithlessness, I am very much on the fence with this game. SO2 was the best imo, I never liked the sequels anywhere near as much, and each new entry just seemed to get worse.
I'm glad there's a demo because I didn't like the last one. Downloading this now. Hoping it's way better.
