This is the game we all been waiting for and could be the biggest launch of a sequel in a long long time. This could set sales records, overall score record for a Sony game and the GOTY awards

Yes I know about elden ring but that caught many by surprise while the hype for this game is just on another level

The level of accessibility in God of War is a big difference maker vs Elden Ring. That kind of try-die-try gameplay in Elden Ring tends to wear many gamers down to the point they just give up. God of War is much more accessible and is ultimately more playable due to its fun core mechanics and the fact that the challenges do not feel so insurmountable. There isnt that same level of dread that you will never be able to defeat such and such boss. I feel God of War just has infinitely more fun factor and playability than something like Elden Ring and is therefore more accessible.

I think most gamers in general fully expect this to be Game of the year. The fact that its actually releasing this year and being so highly anticipated, there is just this overall sense that people know theyre going to deliver one hell of a thrill ride from start to finish. Theres really no way for them to screw it up and thats why so many are willing to buy it day 1. Its just one of those rare games where you can feel the collective anticipation that it will be a generational experience, regardless of it also being on last gen.

Really want better accessibility options in gaming. No game should launch without story difficulty for those who want to experience the characters and story (talking about non souls like games because souls game are loved for being hard)

Recently started guardians of Galaxy game and the amount of options that we could tweak was very nice

GTA5 had a nice feature where if you get stuck at a mission you could skip it after failing 3-5 times and I believe that's good

Every gamer has right to play as they like

Easily one of the most anticipated games of the year, can’t wait ! 🔥🔥🔥

“ It's a great excuse to jump back into the fray with videogame’s second favorite Spartan.”

So you’re saying that the game Hades and its star character, never played it, are bigger more well known and liked than Kratos and the God of War series?

Armyofdarkness121d ago (Edited 121d ago )

He obviously means Kassandra, right?

Gamehard121d ago

I don't think the MC from Hades is a spartan though. Not 100% sure, but yeah I don't know of any other spartan game character that's more popular than Kratos.

Psychonaut85121d ago

Im guessing he’s speaking more broadly and is referring to Master Chief as the most popular “Spartan”

Abnor_Mal121d ago (Edited 121d ago )

That’s likely who it is, I don’t if Master Chief can be considered a “true” Spartan like Kratos lol.

Master Chief Spartan label is just a rank given in the Halo military, sorry not a Halo gamer so I have no clue what their army is called in the game.

But is Master Chief really more popular as a Spartan, interesting question.
