Nice selection this month. GG Sony.

Eonjay650d ago (Edited 650d ago )

Lol this is getting kinda of crazy. These last couple of months are absurdly good. Not complaining though keep it coming.

fr0sty650d ago

and people were worried PS+ monthly games would start sucking because of premium...

Rockstar650d ago (Edited 650d ago )

@Sharkydon
So let me get this straight. Because you've owned most of the "good ones" that makes the last few months bad? Also "they will eventually though" is quite the ridiculous statement that makes zero sense considering that yes, there may be a month that will be considered bad at some point by public opinion but that will apply to both services at one point or another. Are you just throwing that statement out now so when/if it happens you can say "see, I told you"? Reading through your comment history I shouldn't be surprised. You're calling out "Sony Fanboys" but you seem to be a fanboy of a different sort.

MajorLazer650d ago

Amazing selection. Between this and GoT & Valhalla on Extra, I'm stacked to the brim with new games to play.

NecrumOddBoy650d ago

So this officially is a free upgrade from my paid THPS PS4 to the PS5 one?

philm87649d ago

Should be cos it includes the PS5 version anyhow.

Last Month was already a banger for me thanks to Crash Bandicoot 4, now also Yakuza AND the Tony Hawk Remakes? Damn nice. Just sold my PS4 Pro and ordered a PS5.

Aloymetal650d ago

Congrats and enjoy your new PS5! Plenty of amazing PS5 games to choose from as well.

babadivad650d ago (Edited 650d ago )

He knows, they're all on PS4.

Aloymetal650d ago

@babadivad
A few are but not all like RnC, Demons Souls, Returnal...
It would be a shame to release a brand new console without any games made for it, even worse would be to wait years for dedicated games on such console. I think there's a platform out there that belongs to that list...

Terry_B650d ago

@babadivad "He knows, they're all on PS4."

Yup Terry also knows that he has around 40 PS4 Games in Physical Form and over 350 more in digital form thant run on the PS5, in the best case with PS5 updated graphics and haptic feedback or just a bit better through the boosting mode. Terry also knows that he has already around 20 PS5 games alone through PS5 and that without the collection. And last but not least Terry knows that there are a few exclusives he cares about or just prefers to play them on console and not his pc ...*nuff said.

babadivad650d ago

This response is hilarious. "Terry knows" 🤣🤣🤣. Wtf dude...

philm87649d ago

Makes me laugh that people keep complaining that games are on PS4 so there's no point in owning a PS5, despite the massive advantages like lighting fast loading times, improved graphics/performance, and haptic feedback.

Enjoy your PS5, it's awesome.

babadivad649d ago

@philm87

I'm not complaining about PS5 games being on PS4. I can still play them on my PS5 as well so it doesn't really bother me.

I was really just poking fun at all the fanboys who were beating their chest when Sony said "They believed in generations." Alluding to their first party games being only available on PS5.

Since Microsoft said they'd support cross-gen for two years, Sony fanboys were giving it to the Xbox guys with that. Only for Sony to reverse course and go the cross-gen rout as well.

Then the same guys who were all for "believing in generations" breaking their backs to say how it's a good thing they are cross-gen now.

This place is a riot. 😂

Lol so much for

"QuAlity oF pS pLuS gAmEs wIlL gO dOwN" crowd

sparky77650d ago

To be fair GWG quality didn't drop immediately when Game Pass released, it only got bad like a year or 2 afterwards.

Most of these drops you see now are likely from deals made over a year ago, but for now Sony does seem to be keeping the quality up.

Terry_B650d ago

Aye, GWG is pretty much very bad in comparison and more or less like a $5 Bundle on Fanatical since around Summer 2020, before it was really good.

Petebloodyonion650d ago

The only thing I wonder for GWG is How much MS is paying to let you keep 360 games forever vs how much Sony is paying to let you rent forever and is the difference so big that it explain the why GWG is pretty inferior in-game quality
But no matter, the fact that Epic gives you a bunch of free games per month (shows that MS could do better).

jznrpg650d ago

GWG has been 99% garbage since inception .

shinoff2183650d ago

@pete

Your comparing 360 games to sony doing ps4 games. Doesnt make sense. MS is giving ownership to 360 games due to them being old. Do ms let you have ownership of xbox one games? Thats what should be compared

Petebloodyonion650d ago

My question is simply about how come MS offering are so poor versus Sony's offering for a service that is costing a similar price.
Thus asking is it so much more expensive to offer titles to keep versus renting them? (I doubt)
if it was the case that could explain why MS offering are so weak versus Playstation
And like I said Epic are giving great titles for you to keep each week while asking 0$ so again what's the reason for MS poor offering?

MrBeatdown650d ago (Edited 650d ago )

@Pete

I doubt that has anything to do with it. Sony ditched PS3 games years ago. If it was so expensive to offer 360 games, Microsoft would have done the same and just offered better, newer Xbox One games. Xbox offers junk because GWG is an afterthought.

Brazz650d ago

And again... Once more, PS+ much better than Xbox Gold.

jznrpg650d ago

xbox Gold should be changed to Xbox Brown . 💩

Aloymetal650d ago

Nah, Bugger green was the perfect color, the person that came up with that deserved a few medals.

Eonjay650d ago

I remember when we used to get PS+ vs GWG articles every month. Now I think everyone is like why bother if one team isn't gonna show up to the game.

darthv72650d ago

I think it was TGG that used to do those. They stopped quite a while ago.

MadLad650d ago

They're both still excuses to make you pay to use your own Internet.
Where's the "I don't have to pay just to play online" tier?

Class_Viceroy650d ago

There are free to play games you can play online without needing subscription. Have at it.

Yes it sucks paying the fee, but do you remember how the internet ran on games back before MS and Sony charged for the online subscription? Think of how bad it was back then compared to how it is now. It's not like your money is going towards nothing. They still have costs to maintain the infrastructure and servers required to connect these online games to you. I would argue the amount of free games we get (at least from Sony) is well worth the yearly price of the service on top of that.

MadLad650d ago (Edited 650d ago )

@class

Yet I play on PC and don't have any issues.

Also the free games aren't free, being they come from the cost you admit sucks, but are still mandated to pay being a console user if you want to use your own Internet connection to play games online.

Don't Blame Arrowhead For Helldivers 2's PSN Controversy, Blame Sony

Sony is to blame for Helldivers 2 getting brutally review bombed, so why is Arrowhead still catching strays?

i feel like a majority has been blaming Sony and not Arrowhead.
just what ive seen.

isarai10h ago

Same, not sure where they were looking

Tacoboto7m ago

Arrowhead's CEO is awesome and so transparent; they're demonstrating they're a gamer-first studio and will stand by our side even with a publishing partner as big as Sony.

I haven't seen anyone blaming Arrowhead except the dumb "but you knew!" takes... Which are useless, it's still the publisher that listed it for sale in unsupported countries.

I love Broken Sword but I admit I was disappointed to see it'll get a mobile release. Seems like it'll be massively limited because of that. Probably good for the studio though. Really looking forward to the redo of BS1 too. We need more point and click games
