Calm down there slick, The Greatest Game that was man made since the creation of Videogames is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, no game has yet to touch the magnitude of story telling, the innovative game mechanics and Oscar worthy voice acting and let's not get started on the sales numbers. The last of us, God of War, Half Life, Ocarina of Time, Nights of the Republic, Halo, Diablo, Mario, Donkey Kong, Final Fantasy, Fallout, even Doom, put them all together and they still come in 2nd when compared in both sales and in story when it comes to the titan that is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

This is Naughty Dogs first attempt at PS5, and we should already know they always give us extreme attention to detail, with the most gory and realistic gameplay ever seen in an action game like this!

Yes, gameplay. Regardless of the game being less than 2 months away, fans want to see gameplay (with it being updated/having redesigned the combat to be more in line with Part 2) that in an of itself has old fans and new, itching to see how different this’ll look in motion compared to the original game, especially with talk of expanded levels added onto that redesigned gameplay. Why would they show off gameplay? Because they know with a beloved game such as this (getting a remake) the proof is in the work, and what better way to show that off than in actual gameplay footage (which does a game better justice than a trailer full of clips, with only a few split seconds of gameplay put here or there…

2. Sony hardly shows off anything anymore. God of War? We've had 2 trailers (not counting the logo reveal), no gameplay. TLOU1, out in less than 2 months, we just got the announcement not long ago. No gameplay.

As for the rest of the Sony studios, there’s little known about what they’re actually working on. We’re coming up on 2 years since launch of the PS5 and we know of like 2 PS5 only games from Sony studios, both from Insomniac. Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. Even then, would it be a big surprise if they say they’ll be cross-gen?

People give MS crap about announcing stuff years in advance and not showing any gameplay. People want to give them grief for the early announcements? Fine, if that kind of thing bothers you. Personally, I like to know what’s coming so I know what to look forward to. Lack of gameplay? Sure, but I wouldn’t expect it for something a year+ out. But people just love to complain about the lack of gameplay footage when MS shows stuff. Now here we are with two Sony games coming out in the next few months and we have no gameplay. Where’s the outrage from people about that? Sony used to be more open about what’s going on and giving updates. Now they play all silent until people get riled up or it just can’t be avoided any longer. About the only thing they seem willing to talk about is the PSVR2.

This is the 3rd time the same game has been released in 10 years. Not paying more than $20 for the same story with prettier graphics AGAIN, with less content. The PS4 remaster should have just been the PS4 version, and released at the same time as, on PS3. That would have delayed the PS3 version till PS4 launched. Nintendo does it all the time.

Nope, Sony knew people would buy it again months later for their PS4, and basically made 2 versions, with that in mind.

You know what wouldn't be a cash grab? A remade Jak trilogy. We only have upscaled PS2 versions of these games on PS4/PS5. It's one of the best series in Playstation history, and it's a shame Sony/ND don't care about them. Instead, we get another version of TLOU because enough morons will pay extra full price for it.

I used to have The Godfather on VHS.
When it came out in DVD I bought it again.
When it come out in Bluray I bought it again, AGAIN.

Why would I do this? I didn't need it. It wasn't "necessary".
Because I wanted the best possible version of something I loved.

Naughty Dog is using this game to cut their teeth on PS5, just like they did with PS4. I don't begrudge them that and I want the product they are selling.

Except that's a horrible comparison being Godfather took a couple decades to come out on VHS, and spans multiple different generations of hardware.

Last of Us just turned 9 years old, has perfectly serviceable versions to play with every version being on blu-ray, and the game, itself, is still utilizing the same engine time and again.
Even then, not even a discount offered to anyone who owns the original version.

This should be $40 max. $20 for anyone with proof they own the remaster.

Or are they providing it with factions out of the box. With a “hey we know you paid for a promised factions in part 2 that we said would have a short delay but here’s part 1 we’ve worked on so that you can rebuy it.
