After playing Shredder's Revenge I wish they would hurry and drop The Cowabunga Collection haven't been addicted to Turtles like this since I was a kid. Watching the 1990 movie in theater was great loved that movie as a kid own it on blu ray. I rewatched the 1990 movie again and the Secret of the Ooze kind a want to rewatch TMNT 3 but it's bad like Robocop 3 something you force yourself to watch.

Yeah, I def want more Turtles ASAP. And it's pretty rad that you got to see TMNT 1990 in theaters!

Oddly enough, I actually enjoy TMNT III and kind of prefer it over II, but that's just me. Haha

I was lucky to watch the original TMNT in theaters as well. Absolutely loved it, but 7 year old me was shocked when Ralph shouted D@$! in the city. Never saw that in the cartoon. Lol!

On a side note I now have an original 89 TMNT cabinet in my man cave. At 6 years old, it was probably the first arcade game that really blew my little mind. A masterpiece for its time.

He yells bitchin' around the end of the movie before Splinter says what catch phrase he prefers. I didn't even notice until I was an adult watching it with my roomates at college. I always remembered him yelling damn a couple of times but never bitchin'. lol

Ralph? Come on, now.

Awesome that you own a real TMNT cabinet. I have the Arcade1Up cabinet, and it's pretty sweet.

TheSanchezDavid704d ago

An original 1989 cabinet?! That's dope as hell!

Saw the 1990 movie in theaters as well.

What a time it was.

TMNT is one title i would like Koei to make a Musou title out of .

I'm hoping this and the Cowabunga collection sell. Maybe then Nickelodeon will feel more inclined to do more with the IP. I'd gladly buy a TMNT Warriors game in a heartbeat.

The Cowabunga Collection should do well there are Turtles fans whether from the 90's, 2000's, 2022's. You are essentially getting games from multiple platforms from handheld to 8 bit to 16 bit. For fans who never grew up in the 16 bit and 8 bit era they get to try out these games. Plus fans get to play the arcade games that are also in the collection. I played the first arcade game that was ported to the NES as TMNT 2 the arcade game. I never played Turtles in Time for the arcade but I own it on the SNES. So fans of any age range can enjoy the games whether first time playing them or turn interest on for new players. Some of these games in the collection can get expensive to own like Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist. And Konami when they actually cared about their fans back then they did make some solid arcade and console Turtles games back then.

Soooo stoked for the Cowabunga Collection. It'll give me a chance to play some titles I missed, too!

I’m loving how wu tang is featured in all of these games. My nostalgia is in overload, the final boss in shredders revenge has a wu tang song playing. 10/10

TheSanchezDavid704d ago

That Wu-Tang Shredder theme goes hard! Such a cool track!

sourOG704d ago (Edited 704d ago )

Yeah, my peoples were definitely running the show on shredders revenge lol. They hit all of the notes on 90s throwbacks. I’m glad I got the collectors edition from limited run.

Bigman4k705d ago
